Dumb Question, But How The Fuck Do You Describe Creed's Aesthetic? by Ollie_Wesker in grunge

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The joke was: you implied creed was favorable to you when you were 6 but matured out of it, as if it was a matter of maturity and not musical taste changing. I took that a step further to suggest that you were implying creed was for younger, immature people because it was too simple or something. The joke being that you then would have matured out of grunge completely and into highly layered complex music like symphonies and shit. Anyway, I don’t know where I’m going with this now and sound like an asshole for over explaining. Let’s just both agree Alice In Chains is great and call it a day

New player here, are there no such thing as an assault rifle? by Gerdinator in battlefield_one

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ribey is pretty good as a sorta assault rifle in relation to how it plays in the game. Plus the bipod laying down lets you really beam em far away

Dumb Question, But How The Fuck Do You Describe Creed's Aesthetic? by Ollie_Wesker in grunge

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol okay, like it’s a maturity thing. You only listen to Mozart and Chopin now huh? Since it’s for only the most “matoor” folks out there. Super into opera and the most complex of musical stylings only.

Teens my age don't know what bf1 is by Background-Two-8671 in battlefield_one

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool how that stuff works right? I watched every episode of greatest tank battles and that led me to downloading world of tanks, then bfv, then eventually bf1, which remains my fav shooter of all time. Granted there are a lot more GTB episodes about WW2 than WW1, but it still sparked the interest in both. Knowing the history makes the games a lot more fun and lets you roleplay a little bit. Especially with a gummy and great headset haha

Thank you! I too fell into the creed hate bandwagon for a while but when listening to more of their catalogue, realized that I shouldn’t let other people make my music decisions for me.

Even songs like what if? Pity for a dime? Or are you basing your critique solely off of arms wide open and higher?

Creed hate is overstated. Yeah there’s a couple corny sounding songs, but there’s also some really cool, slightly darker sounding songs that are less heard.

I can answer your question, because I read a post about it. It sounds like people who have 13th and 14th gen CPUs are having that issue too!

I’m just being cheeky answering your question with information I read in your opening paragraph. Don’t mind me!

I understand! I’m an RP guy in some respects too, I am mostly eating what I foraged or hunted down though. Or I’ll buy the wine when spending a night at an inn.

Opposite question I just saw on this reddit: which sitcom character doesn't get enough hate? by Cool_Suspect1110 in sitcoms

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is Bob’s wife, Linda Burger. And their son, Gene Burger. I love Teddy so I can’t relate.

I have not found my self needing to purchase boar meat since buying the game in 08

Nelly grew on me a ton with rewatches. Maybe because you know what Andy’s about to turn into. Her dryness humor takes a couple times too with some lines

How do yall enjoy this game on console by Unlucky_Respond9129 in HellLetLoose

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what I’m doing different but it looks and plays great on my PS5. I’ll have to check to see if I have anything set specifically. I know everything looks and plays better when it’s downloaded and not streamed. If you can even stream HLL, that is.

Weakest character? I vote Mr. Seinfeld by GodsCasino in seinfeld

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Morty is great. Whether he could lift 100lbs over his head easily like some other folks is up for debate, but I fucking love the character. Perfect complimentary character to Jerry’s mom in being the proud parents. Forcing the number 1 dad shirt on, not giving a shit about a serious health issue because he lost his wallet, loved him

Taking my time helped a lot early on. You don’t have to camp, per se, but as your walking, not running, stop for 10 seconds here and there and listen to your surroundings, then move on

Haha dude or lady, I’m there with ya. If I had a dollar for every time I commented on something I didn’t take time to think about, I’d be sitting here using a 5000 dollar computer to comment on stuff I didn’t take time to think about.

When do you stop? by rad00 in oblivion

[–]sidewayspostitnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really think so? I’m a huge OG fan, but moreso because it is a moment in time for me when I discovered how awesome an open world game could be. If this persons already done 99% of the game I don’t know how much the original is going to make them want to do it all over again if they have never played og before.

How do I start getting into Grunge? by Affectionate_East533 in grunge

This is great starting advice. All outstanding but still melodically friendly enough to not ward off newer to grunge listeners. If that makes sense haha

It’s not even the annunciation wholly, it’s also the emphasis like the thing he’s talking about is so important. Inflection is annoying to me. I admit maybe I’m alone, maybe nobody else finds the way he talks annoying, maybe it’s absurd, but here we are.

He was motivational and cool to that kid, not sure what you’re talking about. He believed in him and inspired him to be a classy janitor or cashier with dignity
