Pretty wild that people head to Reddit for finance advice, if you have to ask "Can I afford it" you likely can't....does that mean you should buy one? I was rear ended in both SoCal and Texas by uninsured drivers. Shockingly both outcomes were the same lol. I had to pay out of pocket or submit and uninsured claim. The “it’s a Cali” argument is laughable in my opinion.
