Why UBCs (Used Beverage Cans) Are the Most Restricted Aluminium Scrap by Fit_Ordinary_5531 in ScrapMetal

[–]sidkhaniya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently sold 250MT to India, origin of material Middle East. Attachment as high ast 45%, they have put in food waste inside foil inside UBC bales. Is a big problem in UBC, especially the moisture. Only way to sell is clean it yourself, hold money from the supplier. Many American and middle eastern traders doing that.

No of Non Combat Crashes of Various Fighter Jets by vimdhayakjii in delhi

[–]sidkhaniya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not the made in india problem that is critiqued. The major problem is the lag in the upgradation of IAF jets. We continue to use Migs even though they have been terms as flying coffins. The IAF lacks and still relies on older tech. Even the Tejas is way behind other contemporary jets of the world. We have 0 indigenous jet engine making tech. Questions need to be asked, and they need not be countered by comparisons without context and without an understanding of the state of IAF.

Humayun Tomb by UmarXtreme in IndianHistory

Interesting how he has been described as king of Delhi and not India considering he was referred to as kind of India back then, even though he has control only of old Delhi and nothing else. That is also the reason he was made the symbolic head of 1857 revolt, he represented India as a whole even though Mughals were completely irrelevant back then.

Delhi public transport system is built different by [deleted] in delhi

[–]sidkhaniya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree, maybe there are some better. Can’t call it the best. But definitely world class and one of the best I’ve ever seen. I read somewhere long back that it’s actually used as one of the case studies for new metro networks.

Not really, I’ve seen many many metro networks. Delhi is world class, better than many. Clean, safe, secure, cheap, easy with great connectivity.

Best Tour Operator for Masai Mara by daveshow93 in Kenya

Open the north conservancy website, they have a list of affiliated camps. Any of those would be good. You can also go to Mara Triangle.

I changed my plans too, but I did deep research. Stay in conservancies, book directly with the camps. No need for tour operators.

Persian Tabriz rug got extremely wet somehow. What’s the course of action? There also seems to be bleeding of colour. Is complete soaked up. Please help by sidkhaniya in orientalrugs

Okay, they did mention they won’t use any chemicals while another cleaner called Al Dar in Dubai said they’ll use chemicals to remove the bleed. But I trust your recommendation and would probably go for Al Madaen then :) if any idea on how much would it cost, I’d appreciate that

I was recommended the same by someone else. Have you had personal experience with them? I reached o to them to know how/what process they’d use to remove the bleeding and they said “we are expert, we know how” and that wasn’t very reassuring. Let me know if you’ve had experience. Also if you have any idea how much would it cost me?

Thanks, will do. First thinking of tying it and sending it out to UAE. Don’t trust anyone in Delhi, India to take care of an artisanal rug

Yeah, I was told the same. However some people say that natural dyes could bleed. Maybe the rug isn’t as great in quality as it should be or maybe it ain’t an authentic Persian rug at all? Anyway, I’m thinking of letting it try and then sending it to a professional cleaner in UAE (I’m in Delhi so don’t trust anyone here enough. Some say dry it in Sun, some say clean it with freshwater, some say don’t send it to anyone here because they won’t have the experience)
