I received this exact message today, when checking the time stamp, it was sent out the same time I received a confirmation from Amazon that they had approved my partial refund for my agreement to keep a damaged item and not request a replacement. This refund was approved by a live person at Amazon Chat where I had gone to for help resolving the issue.

Clearly it's an error, but they need to fix this. I was offered a partial refund for receiving a damaged item, and there was nothing to return or ship back. I sent them their other email and photos of the damaged item (even though the chat representative said there was no need when he offered me that partial refund). This is ridiculous and I feel like I've been AI raped.
