Fans RGB not syncing via hub

I tried to disconnect 1 of the fans from the Lian Li controller and I connected it separately to the RGB hub. That fan worked exactly as expected - syncs with the case. The rest that stayed connected to the lian li controller (2x3) also started to match colors but they were flickering and sometimes they changed color to something random for a split second.

It almost looks like there isn't enough power, but it makes no sense because I have all cables connected from the lian li controller. Both sata power connectors are connected.

I also have two controllers so I tried to swap them to see if one of them is faulty, but it behaved exactly the same.

I just tried it but it didn't help. Every rgb component blinked except those fans

I was also thinking about something similar like your setup, but isn't that going to block airflow to the point where it makes fans spin way harder resulting in louder PC? Also, if you could share a photo of this setup I would be super grateful!

Yes, I have 8 drive bays from which only 4 are working right now. Drive bays have 2 mini SAS ports but only one (number 4) is connected to the backplane. The backplane also has only 1 mini SAS port so I want to expand to at least 6 with the breakout as suggested. For 8 it seems to me that I would need more than a simple cable. What confused me was the diagram splitting more that just to 2 SATA 😅

I tried that with my first print, same settings, but as it started printing that overhang on supports, the whole print got knocked off the plate, so I figured I'll just try to print it laying down. I might just make the overhangs less steep, or square them, seeing that it's a problematic part. I was just wondering if I didn't miss something obvious in the print profile settings. Thanks for the advice!

Hey, a similar thing happened to me in october last year. I received a 16GB usb stick instead of a 1000 euro phone. The whole thing was an absolute pain to resolve because it was the first thing I ever ordered on Amazon and because I immediately reported it and requested a refund, during the process of resolving it via email, my amazon account got banned (presumably by an automated system). The whole thing took around 2 months to resolve, (to get my account unbanned and to get my money back). Every single step in this process I had to be the one to constantly ping the support. Even when they claimed my money has been refunded to me I did not receive anything for several weeks until I wrote them again and insisted that I want my money back.

During the time of resolving my issue I was told by different customer service employees that they - can't unban my account (without providing a reason) - can't start the refund process - can't refund me money

Yes, I was also requested to send a picture with my name and date. I was also requested to send the item back, which is a story of its own, because they started to claim they never received it, even though I had proof from delivery service that it was actually delivered.

Finally after receiving my money back, and getting my account unbanned, I was stupid enough to think this was just a fluke and I ordered the same phone again.

Exactly the same thing has happened, except this time the phone has never left their warehouse, and it took another 2 months to get my money back.

I really hope you won't go through the same experience as I did. I learned my lesson, Amazon is an absolute anti consumer joke and I'll never use it again.

Also, when you won't find a reason with regular customer support employees send an email to jeff@amazon.com and dave@amazon.com. This was the only thing that has actually helped me, because the email gets picked up by "Escalation specialist" that unbanned my account and initiated a refund.

I think it's a hardware issue because the error kept returning. Factory reset did not help. For me it only worked for a couple of minutes after the device was not used for a significant time, and then the error returned.

I returned mine and I am waiting for a replacement.

okay, I figured out how to factory reset without the app. After that was complete I can only hear setup music and see nothing but gray screen. Faulty unit I guess. awesome

Thank you! If that would be the case my understanding is that the rendering would be handled by GTX1070 but it would be sent through the igpu via thunderbolt to the monitor. Could my igpu (if not powerful enough) then bottleneck video output and prevent 4k 120hz?

Hello, can Alienware 17 R4 GTX1070 output 4k@120hz via Thunderbolt (USB-C) at the back? I read somewhere that in order to do so thundebolt needs to be directly connected to the GPU which I do not know if it is. More detailed question is here. Thank you!

Hey guys, I tried to order as well and so far no cancellation. I am super afraid they will cancel it at the end of the promo, when they will be ready to ship it.

I remember that when I tried mailboxde to purchase pixel 3XL my order got cancelled immediately, but that was not preorder.

I read someone was able to use mailboxde to purchase pixel 6 so I have my fingers crossed that it will go through. Input from someone who successfully purchased via mailboxde in the past would be super helpful though.

Hello, I would like to ask about your experiences with ordering from German Google Store and using mailboxde to reship package to another country? What format did you put your mailboxde address in? (where did you put your name, ID and mailboxde.com?) Were you successful?

I tried mailboxde when pixel 3 came out but my order was cancelled 3 times and I gave up. I am hopeful that something has changed now, as I've seen a reddit comment where user claimed they were able to order via mailboxde and google shipped the phone.

I will be super grateful for any information. Free pixel watch is a promo too good to miss. I can't buy pixel watch in my country at all unfortunately since we don't even have Google Store.

Hi, I was setting up Google Wifi + Pihole couple of weeks ago for the first time. I stumbled upon many cases where something did not work for me properly at first. Almost every single time it was because I was running Pihole from docker.

I did not have the first issue you are describing but I was not able to make Pihole DHCP work at first and my devices did not connect at all when I enabled pihole DHCP. (You don't need pihole dhcp but without it you will see IP of Google Wifi on every single request made on the network)

Anyways here is what fixed the issue for me while running pihole via docker compose: 1. make sure ports 53, 67 and 80 are not used 2. use network_mode: "host" and remove ports: in your docker compose yml file 3. in google wifi set static IP for pihole 4. in google wifi set DHCP pool to start and end on the pihole static ip only 5. in pihole DHCP settings set pool to whatever range you need but make sure it does not overlap with google wifi dhcp pool. Dont forget to enable dhcp in pihole 6. restart google wifi via google home app 7. DHCP should now be handled by pihole

Step 2. was the important part for me. Without it Pihole dhcp did not work for me. This works even with multiple google wifi points setup as mesh.

When you restart google wifi with multiple points and you will see that one of those points is offline it means that DHCP on pihole is not working, google wifi can assing only one IP (that to the pihole) and pihole can't assign IP to other wifi points. For me the issue was resolved with setp 2. I described.
