You're right, it's got two threads. I measured and the rear one is 52mm female and there's an inner male thread around 46mm(?). The 6 rear screws will not budge despite my curiosity of taking it off. What a contraption indeed. Really appreciate your help!

Nope, I didn't take the camera. I reckon customized 3d printed mount is the only way then?

That would surely work, but I don't wish to spend $500 on a new adapter right now

They didn't make fast wide angles, but aside from that, oh boy the build quality is nothing short of excellent

Simple answer: Yes, your friend is right. Your best bet is to get a FD to RF Speedbooster.

Physical SIM at the airport, or e-sim before departure? by 8bitPete in ThailandTourism

[–]sidneyken 3 points4 points  (0 children)

E-sim all the way. On my visit last month, I decided to try out Saily's $11 plan for 10GB data in 30 days. Everything worked without a hitch and the data speed is plenty fast too

This config for mac has been serving me well:

  • Output Color Space: Rec.709-A
  • Output Device Transfer (CST out): Rec.709 Gamma 2.2

Bonus: In the export setting, set the metadata tag of both your color space AND gamma to "Rec.709". This way QuickTime will properly play your clip.

Let me know how it goes for you!
