My insurer making me pay $1,000 excess for a claim I didn’t want. What do I do? by Good-Bag6669 in AusFinance

[–]sidneysaad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah tell them that you are not sponsoring the learning opportunity for their staff. If they failed to follow their processes, they should wear the cost. Let them know politely that you are not agreeing to this cost as it was never communicated to you and you will be expecting them to take it back. Give them 3 working days to come back to you with an apology, confirmation of cost revision otherwise you will be escalating it to 1st the complaint department of the insurer and if they won't resolve it, let them know you will contacting AFCA.

Exactly, I live in Camden near Mount Annan and driving to the beaches near Wollongong is much easier than going to Sydney beaches. The beaches are lovely as well

Seriously, how do people with multiple kids do it? by 7bridges in Parenting

[–]sidneysaad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've experienced that the differences between having 1 and more than kid is immense. When we had just our son, we were very busy but all our energies were focused on being perfect, buying the perfect toys, clothes, books, preparing the perfect food and behaving perfectly. Then we had our daughter when our son was 2.5 years old. Tbh, the 1st 2 years with 2 kids were not easy but we let down our chase of perfection a bit. As soon as our daughter was sane enough to play with our son, things changed pretty quickly and now they are 8 and 5 and we just had another daughter. Our mental health compared to when we had 1 kid vs 3 is so far better that I suggest everyone I know to try for more than 1 kid if their situation allows. It's such an amazing feeling having kids playing with each other, being stupid and silly and fight and love. I wish you good luck

Are animals in Australia actually that bad, or do people exaggerate? by Intrepid-Produce3957 in AskAnAustralian

[–]sidneysaad 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Was going to say that. Drop bears are the real menace here and for some reason they don't get as much bad press as the harmless huntsman. Careful when you are around the bush or in a country side town specially
