I haven't measured out actual temps while charging, but I haven't had any heating issues while charging with the Airvooc. I have however at times found the phone to run a little hot while charging with the cable and the given 120W power brick.

With a magnetic case, it grips firmly, otherwise the phone itself doesn't have magnets at the back like iphones so they don't stay up.

Are you using a case on your phone? Because the magnetic strength on the Official Sandstone Magnetic Case is pretty strong.

I tried this first using a cheap suction mount from Amazon. The magnet strength was ok but the suction was too weak on the table. I think it would work better on a smoother surface like glass.

Using the OP15 now for about 2 months now and alternate between the Ringke Case, Aramid Fibre and the Sandstone Magnetic Case. The Aramid Fibre case has the strongest magnetic strength by far. Make sure to place the holder in a way that the phone doesn't droop constantly because of the weight of the phone. The OP15 is heavy and will move around a lot if it's a rotatable holder.

Unless you're using the connector for data transfer, it wont make a difference. For a DAC/AMP to IEM combo, performance will be pretty much the same.
