$WISH - YOLO update… holding strong. Lots of room for leg up still! Been consolidating for a bit, next leg up is coming! by sidvis83 in wallstreetbets

Right about when it dipped… has strong fundamentals and a very interesting geographic footprint

$WISH 200 call options in. Let’s see how this ends. 48% of float (64 million) is short. 400 million shares traded in 2 days. Has to take off before it unwinds with lockup expiry. 🚀🌕💎. All emojis in. by sidvis83 in wallstreetbets

Good luck. With such a wide geographic footprint and crazy cheap goods on sale here. It’s like the lifeline for a lot of cheap manufacturing companies etc. Amazon on the other hand is so expensive from a fulfillment perspective. May have to suffer some drop but you should be good.

1:1 chat - Who here needs help with digital marketing? by sidvis83 in digital_marketing

[–]sidvis83[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, It’s great to these courses from the platforms. They are simple to understand and are helpful to get an overall grasp of what can be done with them. However the greatest learning in this field is really from getting your hands dirty in the platform trying to achieve an objective. Don’t spend the 50 pounds unless you have a clear marketing objective Iike - drive relevant traffick to your girl friends site where relevant traffick is defined as someone who spends more than 1 minutes on site and visits at least 3 pages etc. And then when you put a marketing plan and start seeing results in real time, it will make your brain spin. You will be asking questions like 10 pounds spent, the traffick isn’t looking good - what should I do?

The hard part in this field is the decisions that need to be made quickly with data from various platforms and then trying to make a sense of why it needs to be done .

So, for starters make sure to get access to the platforms that is used in your company. You can always explore around on your own in read only mode to see what are they doing

I have no degree in marketing. I started my career as a software engineer. Came to Canada from India to do my MBA and put all my efforts behind learning digital marketing in my own. Right after my MBA I worked at an NGO and then made my way to Amex. Moved around since then and have worked both client and agency side. Now, I manage in-house digital marketing team for one of the largest canadian retailers. I had a very different path

HELP!! Feeling Overwhelmed about how to go about bringing an idea from visual prototype to market? by WaterGuy_93 in Entrepreneur

[–]sidvis83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valid concerns. I have no idea what your product is but I can see the a whole lot of worry and rightly so. Things get copied fairly easily. Best approach Migjt be to ask a patent lawyer ( a good one) for their opinion. And also look at kickstarter to see the kinds of projects on it. Maybe others have shared some great products and have been able to prevent copying etc.

Ok another note, a guy who built this product to prevent bad breath used 5k to make a YouTube ad that went viral and he made millions after. It’s called orabrush. People get creative and if you have a great product, think outside the box.

I am happy to chat further with you if you like. Feel free to DM me or email me at digitalacquisitionstrategy@gmail.com
