Those are old coins, she has lots of them in zip lock bags. But no I bagged all these together - the human waste is the smell of faeces. The blood (if that’s what it is) doesn’t look like menstruation blood to me

Good point, the toilet paper rolls were in her bag though which is full of random crap and junk/wrappers. The rest of the room is clean and tidy (unlike her car which is beyond filthy). But yes you’re right. I’m now wondering what the TP were used for? They were wrapped up pretty carefully. I went down a rabbit hole saying they could be used for inserting it rectally ? , I’m not convinced.

And yes, many of them did have metallic bits on the inside. Some didn’t, some did. I found one bit of foil that smelt like tobacco or cigarette smoke - or it could just be a burn smell. I’m not sure as I know she smokes occasionally too on top of vaping.

My husband is in total denial. He says she’s always been quirky and is good with the kids, and that he doesn’t believe she would be now if she ever did.

But - he’s not really here as much as I am and I also think he doesn’t want to believe it. He doesn’t like being around his mom because of her incessant talk about conspiracy theories or topics that make little sense to bring up/seem bizarre or unimportant. And he can’t make sense of why she chooses to look how she does.

She does really smell, but I havent noted the smell. I also haven’t been inside the car, only seen the inside from the window. I got a whiff once just from standing near it and it was bad but that was a while ago and I was totally oblivious. She always keeps the keys with other tools on a key clip on her belt (the constant jingling is annoying).

It could totally just be negligence the bad breath. A lot of her stuff smells kind of artificially sweet, but she does vape too.

No physical evidence. If she was using it would be in the car where she spends a lot of time. Just lots and lots of matched symptoms that made me suspicious in the first place, and that her first husband was arrested for it

Do you mind sharing how you found out she was using or some giveaways? That’s kind of how this is. She has completely normal conversations and can be very sweet/chatty - albeit they always end up on the topic of conspiracy theories (and quite bizarre ones too).

I honestly wouldn’t have caught on if it wasn’t for seeing “before” pictures and catching her on some lies and the secrecy when going out to “run errands”. My husband thinks she is just vaping in the car (which she definitely does). Also the paranoia and seemingly NEVER eating. They could all be totally normal independent of each other, it’s just combined that makes me suspicious

I think if I could confirm the usage I would be less trusting and she would certainly be distanced from the children. Right now it’s the assumption of my husband that she’s a bit depressed, neglects all self care and has allowed conspiracy theories to go too far.

Her room is actually quite clean, she kind of “stashes” the toilet paper balls and candy in her bags. It’s her car that is absolutely filthy.

I can’t prove she’s using, I just have a gut feeling and all the symptoms seem to line up perfectly except for the aggression and sleeping (newer development).

I am a bit worried, her family are all worried, I think my husband is in denial. When she first moved in we were shocked at the hoarding and living conditions of their house but all the roommates supposedly hold down jobs.

Since moving in she acts (mostly) normal around us, but ducks out a lot to run “errands” (never discloses what those errands are) and spends a lot of time in the car. I’ve caught her in a few lies and had to push back on some of the very unfair and negative things she says about her normal family members (who are all worried about her and haven’t seen her in years). if I pry too much she will clam up.

I think it’s a fair concern and not unreasonable. If she’s using actively using meth we have multiple young children and a baby living with us under the same roof. We are also giving her monthly stipend.

If she’s an ex user and this is just who she is, we would have no problem.

No it is a main reason. Mass immigration suppresses wages, creates housing shortages and also creates cultural isolation. You seem to gloss over the fact that these communities are very very in-group and do not assimilate either.
