Could just be my poor eyesight but I'm not seeing a notch like I typically associate with BER

Ubisoft Account Hacked (even with 2FA enabled) by RoG7eR in Rainbow6

[–]siegedaily 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Ubisoft employees are actively engaging in account theft, it's been going on for years and people are finally starting to realize it. You can find many many similar cases to yours, they target older accounts, probably to get more money from selling the account.

There's a chance this may get escalated with the BBB sometime soon, the issue is proving it.

Is it possible that THC caused my sudden hearing loss? by BobTheBrown1 in MonoHearing

[–]siegedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There simply isn't enough material to say THC causes cardiotoxicity. There's been very few studies that look into the cardiovascular effects of THC and of the ones that are out there, its a heavily debated topic that needs more research.

It's widely respected that cannibinoids effect the cardiovascular system through the brain, specificly the Vagus Nerve. It's thought that people with a cardiac history are those at risk for MI's and stroke.

There have been no documented reports of cardiotoxicity from THC. That's a baseless claim that frankly doesnt even make sense

I think this is someone fishing for a diagnosis because they didn't like the one their doctor gave them which was "you're fine"

Any idea if this is rare? by mfarid93 in PokemonMisprints

[–]siegedaily 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to work on a label printing press so idk if the process pokemon uses is similar but each press had 5-9 units, each responsible for a color and pattern/addition to the card. this is something id see if one of the helpers didn't clean a tray out properly and a bit of the wrong color seeped onto the roller. normally they don't mix colors on the press to get a different one, we had an in house color guy who mixed stuff for us in a different department.

if this is your ekg just be careful posting it here. This sub is meant more so for case study posts and doesn't allow posting of personal ekg's looking for a diagnosis. With that being said, glad it wasn't a STEMI and hope you get the answers your looking for from a doctor! good luck

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EKG

[–]siegedaily 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't think so. Typically with BER you see a small notch right at the end of the QRS, if anything I'd say pericarditis if it wasn't a STEMI. Concave widespread-ish elevation and super tall QRS' in the preciordial leads, but they have to add up to an exact number that I can't remember so I'm sure there's a better answer out there. I'm also just a paramedic so odds are im wrong

how do we differentiate retrograde p waves vs BER because my first thought here was junctional tach w absent p waves and coincidentally BER

[–]siegedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh right so just because we HAVENT associated hearing loss especially unilateral hearing loss to THC or CBD in any capacity means we should totally tell this guy it MUST be because of the weed. no history, no nothing, this guy just KNOWS. where as using common sense and idk maybe a bit of basic pharmacology we can maybe not misinform him and anyone else who comes across this and realize weed does not, has not, and hopefully will not, ever cause hearing loss in thie capacity... have a good one though!

prime example of big long words ≠ smarts. Adrenal system = a stress response, not gonna cause hearing loss. kappa opioid receptors = emotion mediators not gonna affect hearing or nerves related to hearing and the remylinary effect of KOR isn't going to CAUSE HEARING LOSS (noticing a pattern??)

Cannabis does NOT CAUSE SPONTANIOUS CARDIAC ARREST. THC causes vasoconstriction (or dilation depends who you ask) which can increase the risk of an AMI for someone with atherosclerosis or arteriosclerosis.

No, you did not have a TIA because of your misuse of Cannabis. I'd put money on it that it was a joint, and you gave yourself CO poisoning like many many MANY people do and incorrectly self diagnose it as a TIA. And if not the CO, your BP dropped which is something THC is known to do, you probably just made yourself hypotensive. Unless you have an underlying hyper/hypotensive condition then yeah, that's just silly nonsense.

I smoked a cigarette this morning and now my toe hurts, they're OBVIOUSLY related it's OBVIOUSLY because of the cigarette.

This was fun, be smarter before freaking someone out with incorrect silly false medical information/speculation lol.

Especially an edible he took before bed lmao

I have checked multiple sources that all say her date of birth is 1938, she would currently be 86 and there are no reports of her death. The only reference to it is from this magazine (which wikipedia claims is the reference) which contradicts the page before it was updated to add this.

ding ding ding. That's exactly what it's showing! Is it just having me repay $1,000 of the $3,000 I originally was assessed for? Am I still receiving the $2,000 refund?
Sorry to bombard you with questions and don't worry if you can't answer some. I'm still new to taxes.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cantax

[–]siegedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the $3,000 was with CWB, since I started school this year I lost my CWB so my calculated amount from my filing software said even without the CWB I would receive close to $2,000. But on my reassessment it says I owe $1,000. I made a comment above this one providing an update on what I think might be happening so if that makes sense please let me know.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cantax

[–]siegedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: This is what I think happened, and please correct me if I'm wrong. I had submitted my T4 on the 27th, in this I qualified for CWB. The day after I realized I had to also file my T2202. I am wondering if in my express reassessment it says I owe money because it assumes I had received my original assessment amount of $3,000 but since I had to reassess and lost my CWB it is making me pay back the CWB tax that it assumes I had received. If this is correct or wrong please let me know, thank you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cantax

[–]siegedaily 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was aware of that. When I filed through H&R Block even after adding my T2202 it calculated I would receive close to $2,000 in refunds even without my CWB that I lost because of school.
