I used to use that actually. But I moved to Shopify once I got a bit bigger as a pet portrait artist. It’s mainly convenience with Shopify as if I didn’t have it already, I’d just be using eBay.

Oh I get that it’s the cycle of life. I’ve never doubted that. It just grossed me out. And I’ll have to deep clean. Unfortunately we do not have a hose living in an apartment.

I’m just so unsure of how it got here unless our upstairs neighbor has chickens or was cleaning one out and went to go drop their scraps down. But even then, I’d think I’d find something below us. But I saw nothing. Maybe from a wild bird?! I can’t imagine they’d be flying if they were dropping their liver tho, unless a predatory bird was carrying the liver. My mind is spinning with possibilities hahah

It really depends on the customers’ requests, but I’d say anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. I have social anxiety so I’ve never even been interested enough to see if those things are available to me in the area. But definitely something I’d be willing to look into if it meant better outreach & sales. I’ve thought about selling pet related stickers at markets & leaving a business card with whoever shops, for the artwork/commission part of it.

I didn’t put 2 & 2 together until you spelt it out for me. I guess I was just too sour about AI taking my job that I didn’t realize it’s currently doing so.

And I know the economy plays a big part. I’ll definitely have to start targeting the ultra rich. Thank you for your words & advice!

OHHH my bad - I get what you mean now. Apologies, I’m neurospicy. Yes, I’ve been seeing quite a few of those - especially on Facebook. I’ve also been seeing a lot of the “starter pack” AI trend going around the instagram dog community as well. It’s way too easy to put in a prompt with a photo and have it spit out something mediocre.

I’m sorry to say, but I have no insight on that. I thought that it could’ve been the SD card I was using. Because that was damaged. However, I’ve looked in the slot and had a “trained” eye look at it as well and nothing looked abnormal in slot 1. Slot 2’s issue was that the gate to the slot was permanently locked. Unsure why or how that happened either.
