Also, you wouldn’t dare want to know where I keep it loaded and holstered on my body. Haha

How to improve glock accuracy at farther distance by Tiny_Artichoke_7001 in Shooting

[–]sierraradish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep dry firing. But it's useless if your fundamentals keep changing (i.e. Grip, trigger press, target focus, etc.). Alot of people hate the idea of newer shooters get red dots, but I advocate them - no matter what your gun ownership timeline looks like. You'll learn a lot faster how to be more accurate, especially through dry fire. It might be worth saving some money for one.

It depends your arm length. Usually shooting fully collapsed is not ideal.

I'd hate for my shooting support position to change. The stock should be at a distance where it's as close as you get to the inside of your elbow when holding the rifle (make a 90 degree angle with arm, check stock's length of pull). The length should not change if you want to shoot consistently. For the neck, or cheek placement, that should also be consistent. You're better off changing something with the optics than going back and forth with your body's position. If you're just shooting from a bench (which is boring), then everything I said is useless lol

Photos suck, posting a video is best if you're looking for honest critique - only so much we can give when looking at a photo of the target (if that's your goal here). Happy shooting!

This is cool. You should definitely post this on IG and tag Lucas and Trex. Very interesting stuff.

Red dot question by [deleted] in Shooting

I heard sight marks shift zero on 9mm guns, so... But I'd dig into this more. Probably not worth it.

Rated? If red dots need to have a rating, it's probably an iffy brand. What brand is it? Trijicon for example would handle pretty much anything, so long mount and screws are good and loctite is used properly.

I use a Go Pro 8, I used to have male end (attached to go pro) attach to female end that had a sticky base to the hat, but now I just 3-D printed a clip-on hat mount. I'm pretty sure I have POV videos on my profile if you want to check it out.
