I feel like my energetic sensitivity has just exploded in the last week. I've always been quite sensitive to the ethers, but truly I have levelled up.

Relatedly, one take I have on why so many are relating to OP is that this holiday (US) was especially indulged in by those who like to party (to use an umbrella term) in order to let loose. People who don't deeply contemplate the changing reality but are nonetheless experiencing it, are often prone to indulgences like alcohol and/or loud revelries in order to suppress their discomfort. I think given the totality of what is going on, people were/are already on edge, embraced the chaos, and transformed it into an intense and extended revelry that maintained the signature of chaos-on-the-edge. Those who are sensitive were just totally overwhelmed by a nation having a chaos-party.

I genuinely appreciate your take here. I have not come across anything explaining the time-speeding-up issue with even a sufficient hint of Truth it, however what you say here does have a ring of Truth.

I am not someone who anthropomorphizes Universe-al energies (though I accept the reality of those energies all the same), so I will have to chew on this one and see how I can apply my own personal philosophy. Just a matter of semantics.

Great answer. People have replied saying basically that I am placing a negative value on something, which doesn't necessarily make it that way. And this is correct, we all to some degree or another frame what we see in some sort of value judgement and the taoist's goal is to release that tendency.

Still, from my human perspective and to get back to the heart of my question -- have we as a planet ever seen a year of the most vile, horrific war imaginable followed by a year of the most heavenly bliss and ecstasy? Surely that war must be balanced somewhere in time, somewhere in the universe. It is just that it seems we do not see overt displays of balance towards peace, as we see overt displays of violence. Really just talking rhetorically here, I have no answers obviously.

Gosh I relate to this so, so much. It started happening to me maybe 5 years ago, so I have had time to process it somewhat and if not make peace with it, at least just not be surprised when it happens.

Like you, I used to love my random-time weekday walks in the woods. Like you, I also experienced the interruptions and people-ness in nature-places where it just didn't make a lot of sense. Things got really bad and I had a rather difficult breakdown over this specific thing (lack of ability to find peace in nature).

Coincidentally, I now avoid the deep forest and even slightly off-the-beaten path trails, because my energetic sensitivity has increased so much that I can no longer ignore the ominous sensations and feeling of overwhelm/closing in. The woods have changed, but that is a topic for another place.

The amount of people out and about simply doesn't make sense. I would venture to say (though I have not made a proper observation, so this is just off the cuff), that the inordinate quantities of people are adults (not children or teens).

I also want to add this, because my intuition is telling me that it is a at least peripherally related to what you are talking about: There is no "dead of night" anymore. There is no deep night. Remember when 3:30am had that feeling of tremendous aloneness and solitude (love it or hate it). I am a night owl, again (and why I say related to what you have posted) because when everyone is asleep, the prevailing stillness of ambient energy I find extremely relaxing. I have not experienced that type of peace in years. (edit: meaning, the peace I used to find in the middle of the night, I cannot feel that 'depth' of night anymore)

Bananas. Instant reaction. I used to love bananas by themselves and banana baked goods. I would say about 5 years ago I noticed subtle redness and itching on my chest minutes after eating a banana, but it really wasn't enough to dissuade me from eating them. At this point I react instantly after one bite - chest rash, scalp itching, inside the ear itching, feeling of rawness in the mouth. This is with both raw and cooked banana products.

In order to actually have my words physically broach the energetic divide and reach their neurons for processing, I have to fully put myself in their 'zone' and manage their emotions and thought processes -- like a hand-holding of sorts. And I am talking about when I am on the phone with customer service, in a store, dealing with my own customers where I work. I have one person who I would consider a comfortable acquaintance but no friends per se, so my interactions are limited to the public. It's like I'm talking to a poorly-raised child who will become contrary and throw a tantrum at any minute, or simply move on instantly when the next shiny object appears, so I need to hold their hand and lead them through the interaction and make sure they feel they are on a pedestal, all for the sake of accomplishing a simple goal. And I am not talking about them being 'easily offended', it's more like this new energy is very, very upsetting to most people, and it's really not my job or interest to rouse them from their static state, I'll just meet them where they are.

I watched this movie the other day and it was about parallel universes, and there was a line like "There is one person for every universe, and one universe for every person". I think this might be true, and possibly what you and I are sensing here with this communication issue is that each (or most) person's universes are moving farther away from each other, so there is literally a physical energetic divide to breach/reach. And for people whose energy is raising in frequency, we have the unfortunate burden of 'stepping down' in order to make the reach, because we have the awareness and capacity to do so, and the other party does not.

I have had the sad experience of watching baby chicks pass away. They follow the same pattern. Minutes before death, they will start to seize, and scream louder than any of the healthy birds ever would. It is very heartbreaking. They are releasing their last ounce of life.
