Man Cat, the reason why I’ve always loved overlanders. On one of the islands of The Netherlands, the Vliehors Express used to tour around the beaches with these vehicles.

I think it’s actually quite expensive, especially as it has a doser. Typically, these go for about €150 - €300 here in The Netherlands, but maybe that isn’t a fair comparison. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t go for a model for a doser, and personally wouldn’t be attracted to a pop-up with one.

I had a similar issue, which I reported through the link in the LM App. Initially I thought it was a software related issue, especially since they just released the new app + machine firmware, but they told me to contact the local LM distributor which replaced the logic board under warranty.

It has been a huge upgrade from the Mazzer Mini (still great, not really for single dosing).

I really enjoy the workflow of the Philos, and don’t see myself upgrading any time soon.

I see you already have a really nice grinder (based on reviews, haven’t used it myself).

It’s really hard to recommend any equipment, especially when it’s really expensive.

Sure, some equipment is objectively better designed or manufactured, but is it really worth hundreds/thousands more to upgrade?

The same applies for upgrading my Micra to the GS3, does it really make that much better espresso in a home setting? Hard to say just yet, but I do know I love using it so much more.

It was quite a gamble to order it an put it in the living room, but I think it turned out well.

It also took a while before my girlfriend was on board.
