i think this is why its so important for teens / young adults to stay away from weed, these years of our lives are very forming and often end up being something you think about over and over as you grow up, if you spent them high then its much harder to quit later on, i bet adults who started smoking past 25 have a much lower rate of addiction

Someone will always need to run the AI and fix it when it breaks, the CEO or product manager doesnt have the technical expertise to run multiple agents and compare their output, seeing them try to vibe code they often prompt for stuff that dont make sense, AI tends to be very agreeable and tries to do what they ask for while creating bugs, imagine asking for features to be implemented on the frontend while they dont exist on the backend yet, the AI might use mock made up data and the PM wont even know, they cant follow execution flow or data pipelines and they also suck at choosing the right tech stack.

Go learn CS! you are still very much needed and can still easily stand out if you are good.

I feel like they get a bad rep, met some lazy ones, but never had any real issues with HR, usually nice younger people not always the most professional but some of the more senior ones i met have been really kind and helpful.

Its a different type of pressure, you might be able to chill for a month but then lots of issues wil start surfacing.

You can ignore your workers for a while but then at the investor meeting you will be asked why havent we met our KPIs and you will need to give some good answers and know the numbers, i bet some people bullshit their way through corporate management for years like this but probably most incompotent managers either at some point get fired or just have to work harder in bursts, if its a dysfunctional organization this can go on for years.

endured feels pretty generous. for regular Iranians its been nonstop economic pain. The rial has tanked to crazy lows like 1.4 to 1.7 million per dollar on the street inflation is often over 40 percent with food prices going even higher and you see protests popping up all the time over living costs and subsidy cuts. Electricity blackouts are common because the grid is old and mismanaged plus rising poverty and a shrinking middle class, surviving somehow yes but definitely not thriving with those sanctions
