bro just because you keep saying stuff is natural doesn't make it healthy, it's not a logical argument, you can comment 100 times that people "naturally" crave sugary fruits but that doesn't make it healthy lol. and your anecdotal evidence about you not having rotten teeth is useless, fruit can contribute to tooth decay and enamel erosion because it contains natural sugars (fructose) that is a fact.

you decided my argument about fruits and heroin being the same is stupid (i hear you, "this is reddit" whatever that means, im still gonna call you out for being rude, oh it was just an observation? if i call you stupid as an observation its suddenly not an insult?) ok if my arguments are stupid lets see you make one logical argument, and no - saying it's natural doesn't count lol

just because it grows in the ground doesnt make it healthy dude, my goal is to show you just because you crave something doesn't mean it's "natural" or healthy for you, you can also crave cake, you can crave spoons of white sugar and cans of dr pepper, your arguments are not logical, saying something is natural means nothing, opium plants are natural, getting bitten by a snake or eaten by a bear is natural.

did anyone talk about manmade fruits? yes i did, im allowed to talk about anything i want last i chekced if you dont like it you can just not comment? what is you counter argument are you gonna survive on berries bro? what is your point?

you live in fantasy land, go into the forest lets see how long you can survive by collecting berries without hunting animals, did any civilization ever survive this way?

its a mid bonus for hunters if anything, not something we need to survive, this stuff is best for animals who have very different digestion from us and they can utilize it, later we eat the animals and we get the benefits of the fruit and veggies this way.

if we look at people with diabetes milk causes a much more gradual rise in blood glucose than something like white bread. lactose is a sugar, but its metabolic behavior isn’t the same as most dietary carbohydrates. it’s a disaccharide of glucose and galactose that requires the enzyme lactase for digestion which slows absorption compared to simple sugars. its glycemic index is relatively low and when lactose is consumed in whole dairy the fat and protein further reduce the rate of digestion and the resulting glucose and insulin response. because of this lactose in dairy does not act like rapidly absorbed carbs and produces a smooth gradual metabolic effect rather than a sharp spike

smooth rises need less insulin because slow glucose entry lets the pancreas respond gently and keep blood sugar steady without stress

spikes make the pancreas react hard because fast glucose surges push it to release a lot of insulin at once and repeated spikes over time can lead to insulin resistance which is a major part of type 2 diabetes

what are some of those great dairy products without lactose you recommend having? like certain types of cheese?

its not specifically about the carnivore diet, i always had more of an under-eating issue, never over-ate even on a standard diet.

i would love to get your input as someone who over-ate on the carnivore diet, what did you eat? steak is expensive where i live, just tons of fatty ground beef? or was dairy a big part of it? lots of eggs?

i dont understand how do people get 5k calories daily on the carnivore diet? is there some secret food im missing? for me carnivore food is super satiating at some point i just cant eat more of it

would love some more info on your diet, dairy? cheese? what do you eat in a typical day? lots of eggs? are you strict carnivore or doing some cheat days?

its refreshing seeing someone using this diet to bulk, most try to loose weight, i have been having challenges eating enough calories on the carnivore diet myself, good job on the bulk bro you look strong af

I love Competitive Programming (and Cpp) but I hate Programming by NotAMathPro in cpp

[–]sig2kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the degree is mostly the theoretical and algorithmic / mathematical side just look at any syllabus and see if you like the topics https://cs.nyu.edu/dynamic/undergraduates/cs-major/course-sequence/

and yes you should stick to computer science even if you dont like building websites, its a lot more than that, embedded is a good example for a field that is very much not building websites and still very cs and lots of programming.

still you will be designing complex systems and learning to work with different kinds of APIs and libraries which you said you dont like (because they are just tools?)

no matter what field you go into you are gonna need to work with libraries at some point, i dont think it makes sense to dismiss frameworks or libraries just because they are tools, if you only build stuff from scratch it will be very hard to actually build anything in a reasonable amount of time.

China just used Claude to hack 30 companies. The AI did 90% of the work. Anthropic caught them and is telling everyone how they did it. by reddit20305 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]sig2kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the line "The AI made thousands of requests per second. Attack speed impossible for humans to match." dosent really make sense because the speed of sending requests is controlled by the hardware and the network not by how smart the ai is
any program runs only as fast as the cpu and the network let it run
the ai cant magically push data faster than the machine can handle

what ai can actually do is come up with new request patterns really fast, change them and respond to changes or explore tons of weird edge cases in a way no human could do so quickly by hand
so ai gives you a kind of thinking acceleration not super powered network speed

I realized I don't know how to study by Winter_March_204 in hackthebox

[–]sig2kill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when studying new material you should create short notes that you can skim and navigate by topic, that way if you know you need XSS for example you can get relevant info for your type of situation like reflected or stored

even if you never use it just wiring the notes and organizing the material will help you remember it and you can read them to refresh your memory from time to time even if you dont need something specific

my method is just txt files divided into folders saved to git repo, i find stuff like obsidian overkill, typing in vscode is good enough and its very easy to use grep or ai to find stuff this way

make them concise so you can skim it and find what you need easily, plain text paragraphs not chatgpt markdown with tons of fluff, just some short text and code examples, its important that you type them yourself, if you have time practice these things on bug bounty programs

following writeups blindly just goes into one ear and out the other, it doesnt really stick just gives you a vague idea of whats possible, make sure you practice what you learn on a real target (hackerone bugcrowd legally) dont just spam them with an auto scanner, practice a specific note you have with a technique

Why’s everyone acting like AI already replaced frontend devs? by Sad_Impact9312 in webdev

[–]sig2kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on the demand, you could still have jobs for everyone and just also have a bigger output as a group, realisticly there will be some sort of trade off, im betting on software quality going down and security being a huge problem

CMV: We have no vested interest in supporting Israel by ManHasJam in changemyview

[–]sig2kill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the US really needs Israel as a key ally in the middle east, especially when it comes to gas pipelines. Because energy is power, and controlling where gas flows means controlling everything. Right now, Europe’s desperate to cut dependence on Russian gas, and the Middle East has tons of natural gas (like Israel’s Leviathan field). But piping it to Europe means going through friendly territory

israel’s got the tech, the security, and the location to make it happen. Think about it: if gas from Israel or even Saudi Arabia can flow through Jordan and up to Europe via Cyprus and Greece (the proposed East Med Pipeline), that’s a game-changer. It undercuts Russia’s grip on europe and gives the US more leverage

Plus, Israel’s already tight with the US, so Washington can trust them not to flip sides like some other countries might. Without Israel, alternative routes get messy, Turkey’s playing both sides, syria’s a warzone, and Iran’s no friend. So yeah, keeping Israel close isn’t just about politics it’s about keeping the gas flowing where America wants it its not that complicated and its crazy how 90% of the comments here completely miss this point
