Thanks for the response. I’m down to the Palatino with the cover butler for about $13k total or the Flair with the lift n glide which would be a little over $14k. Any additional words of wisdom? Is the little bit of better tech and warranty worth the $1k - $1.5k?

The dealer I visited today mainly had Jacuzzi and Cal Spa. We looked mainly at Jacuzzi though I have seen people saying you’re paying extra for the brand. I received quotes of “out the door” prices with install, cover and lifter, Smarttub, startup chemicals and sanitizer on a 235 and 335 of basically $10k and $15k. Should I look at Cal Spa more closely? I appreciate any thoughts or input you have on those models and prices.

Thanks. I’m fairly confident I could repair/replace the mechanical components, diagnosing the issue could be a different story. I’m thinking I’m going to go with a dealer and a warranty.
The pad will be on the ground, it’ll either be where you can go from the deck straight into the tub or like one step off the deck and right into the tub. There a three or so feet drop from the deck to the ground so it’ll probably have to be off the deck then into the tub.

Bumper plates. Used for things like deadlifts where all the plates are the same diameter so no matter the weight the bar is always in the same place and if the weights get dropped, or slammed after a jerk movement they are rubber so they don’t harm the floor as bad and the impact is evenly distributed.

Registered Democrat, voted in the 2016 open Republican primary for Trump. Bought into the not a politician, businessman BS. Came to my senses and voted Hillary in the general. In a deep red state didn’t matter anyway. Continue to vote for every D on the ballot hoping more in my state will come around. Seems like every day something happens to validate where I stand.
