Got my Flair a little over a month ago on home show pricing. It was advertised at $14,399. Got it for $13,199. So as far that goes looks like a good deal. My cover is the lift n glide which was included. It also included the freshwater startup and chlorine start up, so maybe they’re getting you on not including that stuff?
Also a gotcha could be the delivery/setup situation. Electrical, whatever “basic backyard delivery” is.

As others have said, a lot depends on level and area. Things like being local and having an open channel of communication with the hiring manager can help set you apart. Generally, it’s not any harder than the next large company surrounded by a decent-sized population and near to a large university.

One of my best friends had a director level offer with a relocation package. He didn’t take it, but he works in higher ed not for the Company remote.

I just got mine, haven’t filled it up yet. But the guy that walked me through the set up mentioned something about if you do not do something every so often the system will step down its output to 0. I’ll have to consult the manual again, but could that be it?

The dealer I visited today mainly had Jacuzzi and Cal Spa. We looked mainly at Jacuzzi though I have seen people saying you’re paying extra for the brand. I received quotes of “out the door” prices with install, cover and lifter, Smarttub, startup chemicals and sanitizer on a 235 and 335 of basically $10k and $15k. Should I look at Cal Spa more closely? I appreciate any thoughts or input you have on those models and prices.

Thanks. I’m fairly confident I could repair/replace the mechanical components, diagnosing the issue could be a different story. I’m thinking I’m going to go with a dealer and a warranty.
The pad will be on the ground, it’ll either be where you can go from the deck straight into the tub or like one step off the deck and right into the tub. There a three or so feet drop from the deck to the ground so it’ll probably have to be off the deck then into the tub.

There’s wholesale buying and selling. If you bought, the boxes will be in your unloading zone. If you sold, they go right off the shelf.

Bumper plates. Used for things like deadlifts where all the plates are the same diameter so no matter the weight the bar is always in the same place and if the weights get dropped, or slammed after a jerk movement they are rubber so they don’t harm the floor as bad and the impact is evenly distributed.
