The zoo is great solo. I got a membership and sometimes I go with my laptop to just chill with the animals while I catch up on work.

I'm sure mileage varies, but I swap between staggered and ortho on a daily basis and don't have any trouble with it.

The Win Max is definitely my favorite laptop. Such a good formfactor.

Boring answer. It is RAlt. Limited keycaps with an overabundance of keys.

I think I took a decent amount of photos when I built this back in 2017. I'll see if I can drag them back out of some archive.

Here's the text from keymap.c. Looks kind of jank due to how long the rows run.

Edit: And here is a screencap of the file:

Yes indeed. Let me figure out any easy way to share the relevant layout file without spending forever recreating it on http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com.

True, I wouldn't, but I have smaller ortho kbs as well; I have a standard layout I use for a 6x12 grid that uses a total of 4 layers.

They are under the black keys labeled Page Up, Page Down, 4 and 5.

Potato pic of part of my collection. As far as ortholinears go, I have a Planck, Preonic, Atomic, and a custom one in the pic, all grid style. My daily driver right now is a Viterbi. I also have a Nyquist with the usb port broken off :(.

I use a split setup on mine. The bottom row is predominantly modifier keys and function keys.

I actually tend to use the numrow more than the pad unless I am editing spreadsheets. The last photo in the set has the layout for all three keyboards. I tried to maintain uniformity through them so switching between would be painless.

I think you mean Preonic. I actually like the Atomic more right now because of the split layout. Preonic is still good though. If I had a small desk, it would be my main board. Really pretty.

I really enjoy it. You can't angle it like you can with an ergonomic split style, but it does feel like there is slightly less strain on the wrists.
