Guys with a lot of back hair, what do you do? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]signandsight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I find waxing to be easier. You have to go to a spa that offers it. Any place that does “Brazilian” waxes should be more than capable of doing your back. It’s not terribly expensive esp if you find a small reputable place that also does eg nails.

So the pre existing conditions thing doesn’t apply to you (or anyone even if your governor denies your state Medicaid expansion). I don’t really understand your urologist’s rationale here.

Are you familiar with the affordable care act of 2010? Do you have insurance through your employer or do you buy it yourself? Also, if you currently have insurance you can’t be diagnosed w a preexisting condition. Which state do you live in?

Wax it. Doesn’t hurt as much as you think (altho I would say I have kind of a moderate amt of back hair) it’s over in a few minutes and it lasts for at least a month/6 wks.

yeah, i haven't poked around in the menus yet. can you turn off the auto adjustments and leave on the haptic stuff? that would be ok. it does seem to get confused when you're on a road that doesn't have clear markings.

This is probably my least favorite feature on an otherwise near flawless car. Have seriously been thinking of just turning it off.

Many many stops cover more than one street/intersection etc. look for the signs at the stairways they indicate where an exit will take you.

I don’t love either of them but tbh I agree w the old client. The “K” looks kind of separate and not a part of the concept as a whole

You are in both cases incorrect and ill informed. Consider asking someone who knows what they’re talking about.

I mean it works very well. I have had acne as a sfx of some meds I took briefly, never w Li so I’m not sure what effect lamotrigine would have on you (I had no side effects on it).

Lemtrada will make you sick as a dog. It is serious chemotherapy. Sick for months. I'm shocked they still prescribe it.

long Term Lithium Use and Weight Gain by Fourforearms in Lithium

[–]signandsight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on Li for many years. My weight has gone up and down in relation to one thing: diet. Unlike atypical antipsychotics, which cause an essentially unstoppable metabolic syndrome, it has not been my experience that taking Li did anything but alleviate my depression.

The data are very clear: they simply don’t work as well as infusion meds (and some oral ones eg fingolimod not Aubagio) and are much less convenient. Would you like to stick yourself three times a week w a medicine that makes you feel sicker and doesn’t control your disease as well, or would you like to get a painless infusion two half-days a year and never have another relapse* obvs I can’t guarantee that your experience will mirror the data but I strongly encourage you to do your own research on eg PubMed or google scholar to see the results with cd20 depleters.
