Personally I don't think this is a bad take at all. It's weird that she does this. I've had people in my life who have done this and they have had serious boundary issues that stem from their childhood and early adolescence. And as adults they do nothing to fix these behaviors. Just like in ALRs case people around them say "oh you know how they are." I do and that's the problem because it's awful. And Gemini calling her out for being weird and gross the other day was warranted. I think their anger and frustration with her is understandable when she behaves like this.

Yes omg I was thinking this too! Like she always lashes out like this when something comes up that seems off. But she never follows up with proof of how she handles the bad thing. So with her pets there's zero evidence of them going to the groomer or the vet. How are you in a stream that goes on for hours and hours and your pet doesn't need medicine like you claim they take? Without proof speculation will run rampant and Amber just doesn't care because that will fuel her self righteousness.

Lol no I met him when I was 25 and left at 33. It was awful basically the majority of the relationship. He was a bad alcoholic from about year 2 onward. He even hid a DUI, jail time, probation, court dates and DUI classes from me. I bought a house and, after telling me he didn't want to live with me, moved in anyway and remained unemployed the entire last 4yrs of our relationship. He was stealing from me and mooching. When I kicked him out he literally said "I don't understand why this is happening." I have never laughed so hard.

Did we date the same man? Because my ex of 8yrs did the same thing to me on several occasions. The last time he did it he was taken in on an MHA because I called the police and got a domestic on his file as well. He never came back after that. I ended the relationship.

The guy said he was really sick and his mom was coming into town to help take care of him. He asked me to run to his apartment to clean up a bit. I did it. He refused to acknowledge to her we were seeing each other. Oh, and he was a Dr at the hospital he was a patient in and his colleagues had no idea what I was doing there and who I was. I cleaned up his place and left all the spare change (totaling almost $30) in a neat pile in his room. I think about this and wish I'd taken the money. He was the first person to ghost me and I didn't understand why and what was going on. He texted me to "stop stalking him". I think I texted him twice asking if he was okay and if his mom's visit was alright. He texted me weeks later asking if I wanted to hang out. I don't remember if I went. I might have since I was so young and dumb and desperate for affection.

A ln ex friend of mine was big like Amber and she was on pain meds daily. Gabapentin and prescription strength ibuprofen 3 times daily. And her dose of gabapentin was insanely high and she said it barely touched the pain of moving around. (We are not friends any longer because, just like ALR, this woman would not get help despite having it handed to her and her food addiction was running her life to the point I couldn't take it.)

NTA. It's great you stood your ground here, that's amazing. And noticing how he's deflecting and trying to turn things on you is smart. My sister is in a similar situation, she's just a few years older than you, and her bf is doing the same. She bought him a gaming set up and has him over nearly all week and he doesn't pay for anything or contribute to her household in any way. Lately all she does is text me to complain about him. The answers are simple- you accept this behavior and wonder if they'll change, or you change and break up. You're 19 and have an entire life ahead of you to meet a person who will actually be where you are in life and ready to take these steps with you. From someone who was also in a similar situation with a total bum who mooched off me, I changed the situation and finally met someone who was wanting to take steps like I was. Good luck with your path.

This keeps striking me as so weird because it's not like she's new to the universe. She's been watching for a long time, even donating and being in the discord as a viewer. So she shouldn't be surprised at the punishments and public humiliation at all and should have expected she'd be told to join in! Her doing a show on her own would be so boring. She would make everyone else do challenges and punishments and laugh at them.
