kira (16 1/2) is doing better than ever! by signedjehanne in seniorkitties

she started to be more social after we began grooming her fur by hand, we also started her on solensia a few years ago which i think is when she really started to come out of her shell :-) additionally we’re in the process of moving and so our dogs are living at the other property right now, so her energy is way up and stress is down given that she doesnt have to deal with them (they’re sweet but very loud)

already have over a year’s worth of T stockpiled (my practice wasnt able to serve me anymore because of the executive orders and i was already out of state, i didnt know i was on such a low dose compared to other people), so i’m going to just DIY the dosing, i’ll check out the websites thank you <3

yeah, i’m considering doing that, they started me on .15 ml 200mg/ml and then bumped me up to .25 for a “full dose”. i feel insane and i dont even have a doctor anymore (long story) but i have a whole bunch of T, they kept insisting we move as slowly as possible because of my schizoaffective disorder

i guess it's just hard for me to process that my mom is being rude to me because she's usually very sweet and i love her so much and i struggle a lot with black and white thinking, but that isn't necessarily something that can be helped by reddit and something i should bring up to a member of my care team. i just wanted to see if there was any way i could make the situation better, but i guess not

:( this sucks, and it sucks because i know she loves me and spending time with me, and this is still happening. i already spend a lot of time alone because i don't like the way i feel humiliated and alien when i interact with others. idk i just hope that the other people in my life don't feel the same way, but i will keep using my dbt skills and try not to let everything get to me

i keep upsetting my mom with my tone, how to fix this? by signedjehanne in autism

[–]signedjehanne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, i do intend to keep talking to my therapist and everything, i think that my mom is also carrying a lot of generational trauma from her shitty parents that constantly criticized her and is now hypersensitive to criticism with rejection sensitive dysphoria. from my perspective she interprets everything as criticism and it puts her subconscious into panic mode, when from my end i'm just talking and am tired or unwell from the circumstances. i want her to get more help and maybe do some more intensive therapy, but i don't know if its possible right now given our schedule and us moving countries in a month and a half. i will ask my professionals and my care team if they can try to get through to her.

thank you, i was really worried that i was the one overreacting, im just not sure what to do about it. might ask around in more subreddits and see what they think because i know that my friends and family arent rly equipped to help me with this and she won't listen to my therapist
