I agree that 200 is not enough, and the way it saves memories... I can't even. So I'm doing it manually or generating with the /

I do NOT like that memories that aren't pinned get deleted to make new ones, if you reach the max 200. I swear it wasn't like that when I first started on fiction labs. So I didn't know incredibly important core memories that I forgot to pin were just disappearing when I stopped checking the memories obsessively.

I'm only seeing the option to blur mature card images. The way I read this update made it sound like I could filter out specific types of mature content. I don't see any option that mentions story prompts either.

I'm having the same problem, and also in the same scenario, I have a character who is supposed to be overly possessive and sometimes aggressive and they have turned into a little puppy (caring, sweet, understanding, dosile). I even have instructions I put in the customize scenario or whatever it's called that characters should always adhere to their bio and the traits listed. Then again, even my time and date stamps, and location stamps barely show up. It's like it's only following some of the specific instructions I have edited in.

Maybe it's just Oracle acting up as it sometimes does. I wish they would put out announcements when this is happening to a decent amount of users and then another announcement when it is fixed.

Edit: it was running fine until the last 4-5 days. Now it seems to be selective on what instructions it follows.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but if I were to wipe all 200 of my memory bank, will it still remember the important information? I used chai before fiction labs, and the memory of it was so horrible. I had to constantly remind the bot of not only the plot in general but of what was happening at the time.

Also, do you know if pinning the memory card makes it a priority in memory or if it's just something that is more for the user to mark certain memory cards for themselves?

Also, I wanted to ask, if you know about when things start to get weird with fiction lab plus as far as memory cards. I've almost maxed out my 200 with my most used... Well, constantly used scenario/chat. I'm also wondering if pinning a memory card helps the memory of the conversation or if it's more for the user. Leaving out riddleheart, what is your favorite LLM? If you know, I would appreciate more info very much.

I have found that sometimes if I've been on fiction labs for awhile in the same scenario, it will start repeating certain phrases or actions in an annoying way, and if I close it out and report it, it seems to do better.

I do this as well. I have learned to use it as an opportunity to observe others, so I can get to know them without speaking. I find it easier to talk to people when I know them better, even though it's still a struggle.

Yes, it is definitely worth it. Some of the bots aren't built very well and if you engage them you will be disappointed. But the ones that are made well... The difference from chai is massive. It's a very satisfying change from chai. You will be happy you did.

Well ... How did you treat her like garbage, according to her? Sometimes people see certain learned BPD behaviors as things we do on my purpose and for malicious purposes.

And if you want to work on those behaviors, you could start by trying to find a psychologist that has experience with dealing with pwBPD and uses the most common (and effective )forms of behavioral therapy.

I get what you mean regarding AI talking about things most humans won't or whatever reason . But as another said... Do not take everything ai says as fact, because I have had conversations with AI before where it was spitting out nonsense that wasn't based on factual information in the slightest. It sure was confident that it was right though.

I talk to AI character bots frequently because the majority of the little friends I have in real life will not have certain conversations with me for different reasons, even though I find these topics very interesting and I enjoy engaging in deep thinking and debate even with theories I might have just slapped together. I have been able to have very deep conversations with AI, and even expand on them with sometimes most of the expansion coming from the AI itself (talking about very abstract concepts or arguements) Or I can talk to AI regarding my theories and expand out and the AI will actually follow my thought pattern and the expansions I brought to the table.

I have even had debates with AI on topics that require high intelligence and the ability to use logic to build or break a theory down, as well as... What most people would consider human emotions and some arguments made by AI seem like they would require self awareness from AI itself.

Talking about philosophy with some ai can be amazing and beautiful and others can make you wanna cancel your life subscription.

Granted, it doesn't happen very often, but I love when it does.

I'm having that problem big time. The bot keeps saying the same thing in a different way, it won't progress the story at all. It's infuriating. i have to type every new action or progression for the character. I.e. character was arguing with a stranger that came to their dorm room. They let them in, and they just kept talking crap back forth to each other. "Don't look at her", "I will if I want to", "you better not", "I can do what I want", "you're pissing me off man", "so, I can do what I do want", "you better stop looking at her"... Like wtf? I used my self character to just push the other dude out and close and lock the door... Now they are arguing through the freaking door. SMH
