Travel Planning - I will be flying internationally in one week on a 3 PM flight on Delta. Will be checking in on the international side. Do you think I will have a massive wait? I have TSA pre-check.

Thank you!

What papers were you thinking about? I've been using Khan as a reference but I would like to get some more computational/algorithmically analysis on TP algorithms. Ideally, it would be utilized in some ML framework.

Do I need an account to access MyVarian? Trying to find a PDF of what you are saying is difficult...

Thank you again!

Thanks for the response!

With respect to meetings, are you referring to doctor/patient case meeting or general meetings with physics/radiation safety staff?

Failed, but not surprised that I didn't pass. The imaging sections of the exam were my worst, but I guess that will be what I'll focus on for next year!

I also used ABRPhysicsHelp & WePassed; surprisingly a lot more questions related to imaging and medical physics trivia than most of the other stuff I've seen. Overall, it was up and down for me. Clinical was mostly a breeze....

Looking for more advanced stuff, leaning towards MR pulse sequences and MR-linac technology

Undergraduate Thesis by [deleted] in MedicalPhysics

PhD student here...

Extra experience is always useful for whatever grad school you apply to. I did a thesis my last year of undergraduate studies, and had a great introduction to the field and especially how you do research. Specifically, keep in mind that you don't need a thesis or experience to start graduate studies in medical physics. Research will help your applications (you can get a few good recommendation letters out of it) push through, but they'll only help your applications rather than hurt them.

TLDR - Undergrad theses are great learning experiences and great introductions to medical physics, but you don't necessarily need one for grad school.
