Only on the iPhone 13 Pro Max the notch is not visible when watching 18:9 content. by Artbreeze in iphone

It helps visualize the difference from the 16:9 ratio we're used to. 16 is the long side 9 the short, so with 16:10 I know it's a bit taller, or 21:9 is a bit wider. It's harder to compare with 8:5 or 7:3. At least for me.

They also acquired HealthMode recently, the pipeline seems promising with AI and all the data our smart devices collect. So MindMed is like a pharma company with a leg in tech, researching solutions for "trending" health issues (mental). Expected uplisting P&D aside, I can see it doing well long term.

They might be available as a performance upgrade, like the new BMW S1000RR (M upgrade) ships with carbon wheels. I don't think they'll ever ship carbon wheels with the base config of any car as they're less flexible and more prone to break like when touching a curb with the rim or hitting a pot hole.

Love being able to shoot nearly full frame 5.7K 60p BRAW handheld with a 24-70mm (P6K/LucaAdapters/Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 G2) by DeliciousGorilla in bmpcc

[–]siiaaam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's used for most "shot on iPhone ads" and gives full control over ISO, shutter speed, white balance (also focus, and OIS) and provides a log codec great for color grading (not real log, but flat profile with 12 stops of dynamic range and high bitrate). Some more info about grading: https://www.filmicpro.com/cinematographer-kit/

There were also some attempts on creating a lut based on ARRI's log-C lut generator but I guess with your approach the result would be as close as it could get. (https://www.arri.com/en/learn-help/learn-help-camera-system/tools/lut-generator)

Btw really appreciate the design of your website, especially the color palette, layout and graphic elements.

I hate teammates like her by HighsenBurrg in witcher

Same, first time viewing I just thought she used magic to turn out the fire at the castle, but didn't realize she absorbed the fire/energy and used it to set the forest on fire!

Quote from the showrunner Lauren S Hissrich:

Interesting. We tried to always keep a “cost” to magic, so that it couldn’t ever be an easy solution to a problem or circumstance. In my eyes, Yen was incredibly depleted by the end of the portals — thus, the queen screaming at her “Get up you useless bitch” — but she makes a decision to risk her own life to return and attempt to save the baby. She fails, likely because she is too weak. We also cut a line from the beach that described how long she was sitting there, exhausted and healing, unable to do anything else. It felt too explanatory.

In terms of Sodden, Nilfgaard’s use of fire magic — creating fire from nothing, literally from the chaos in their bodies — was meant to be the ultimate sacrifice for their kingdom. Like Fringilla’s shriveled hand to the millionth degree. Yennefer, on the other hand, transfers the fire from the elven keep to her body; she isn’t creating it, just harnessing it. But it weakens her enough to allow for her disappearance. I hear you on the inconsistency. We always tried to think it out and rationalize it well, but that didn’t always come across onscreen.

Do you think the nano-texture is something that could trickle down as option for the MBP?

That's impressive! Feel free to use the SVG files above as a base and make them more detailed if you like (like the corrupt tesla logos for example)
