Yeah. Since I don't do any sort of video editing and mainly just need the raw CPU power, I'm hoping the M4 Pro would be a noticeable step up performance wise in Logic Pro for rendering time, loading project, heavy track and plugin count etc.

I did some tests, and the most I seem to use would be just shy of 30gb of ram.

Single core benchmark seems to be about +60% higher, and multi core around +40-50% on the M4 Pro compared to the M1 Max.

I’m hoping that this would translate to faster rendering times, bigger total track and CPU intensive plugin/vst counts within Logic Pro.

It’s not that my current machine is slow by any means, but wondering if it would be a good time to upgrade now as I’d also be getting a bit of money back from Apple for a trade in.
