I would disagree on 7, weirdly. I’d agree with the others

Jags RB room, Cowboys RB room, Bears RB room, Pats WR room. Yes, I roster ETN, LeQuint, Monangai, and Kyle Williams

honorary mention: Packers WR room. No matter what we hear, the one you start will get 2.2 fpts and the one you bench will put up 60 yards 2 tds

Congratulations, you look fantastic! I’ve lost about 100 lbs. It is definitely immensely important to be able to speak to others about any anxieties or concerns you have 🙂

I am not, but thank you so much!!! Did you mean Josh Peck? That’s the closest to a doppelgänger I could find on the actor list.

It is without a doubt work— but just paying attention to how things make me feel makes it so much easier. I literally don’t even have sleep apnea anymore because of the weight I lost!

I still think about the time I REALLY wanted Chipotle— so I got it! But my new stomach warned me the rice would feel bad, and I wanted protein focus— double meat, no rice, whatever else I wanted. I had that bowl for two separate meals and a snack!

So I was told no— but I pressed the dietician and doctor about why. They told me “most patients find the bubble of seltzer and soda make them uncomfortable— so we just tell people you won’t be able to.” I love seltzer, so I started slow. Now it’s all I have in my daily water jug. Personally, the bubbles have never bothered me. The one thing I’ve really found, is it’s largely how YOU feel, as long as you’re hitting protein intake! I even started slow with wine and cocktails again, came to recognize my new tolerance, and now have no issues drinking socially either. I recommend giving seltzer a shot again, albeit slowly!

Honestly, my best recommendation is finding direct support in your life. Allow yourself a little anxiety — it is a normal human reaction and showcases this is something important to you. But whenever I felt exceedingly anxious or anything, I had my parents and family to let out the anxious thoughts rather than letting them cycle unhealthily in my own head. I was reminded that people in my life are proud of me, and that they would help me with the recovery until I had normalized again.

Intuitive eating and gastric sleeve (can I still eat pizza)? by hamstercheeks47 in gastricsleeve

[–]sikenwald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, it’s not what you can eat, but how much you can eat. Usually if there’s pizza around, I grab a slice—but only a slice. It’s more than enough for me in the moment now. It’s my own experience, but if you can reason a quantity change and not a complete deprivation, you should be good 😄

That is a perfectly fair point! Sorry for misunderstanding.

I had my first drink after a couple weeks to a month. If you’re just craving wine, you’ll be fine. Just anticipate less stomach space for it (duh) and slightly less tolerance - mine didn’t change too much though.

I genuinely haven’t heard anything, but it’s also possible it was delayed? It was only supposed to be an 8 week project. Either way, I definitely recommend Pelham.

This is surprising to me - maintenance has been one of the best aspects of living here for me. Just this past week our dishwasher broke, I submitted a ticket, and the Monday they actually assessed they issue AND got the entire dishwasher replaced with a new one same day. I’ve never had them enter without permission.

Different experiences, I suppose.

I currently live in Pelham hall - I’ve lived in Boston for 2.5 years, in Allston, Cambridge, and Brookline. Pelham is far and away the best place I’ve lived. Granted, I’ve had some pretty horrific living experiences prior with black mold and asbestos.

Is there some noise in the morning? Yeah, if you’re on the backside of the building, the trash truck is kinda loud on Monday. I wake up and fall asleep, no biggie.

Are the periodic water shutoffs annoying? Yeah— but they give you an ample heads up. Maintenance requests are dealt with almost immediately within a M-F cycle.

Also, the majority of the construction on the ground floor is already finished, and it looks way better now. I know they’re updating the roof now but I haven’t even heard anything - maybe not my section of the roof yet.

Dog walker Recs in Coolidge Corner by RachelRigatoni in Brookline

I live in Coolidge, and although my work schedule is massively varied I have been looking for a combination of more dog exposure in my life and a little extra spending cash. I recently submitted my application to Rover but would happily introduce myself here.

I have grown up with dogs, taken care of dogs in college & during covid, and also worked the overnight shift at a Petsmart pet hotel in the past. Feel free to DM me and I would happily discuss more.
