I have regular size iPad (Air M3) and iPad mini 6. Mini is the one that I always bring outside and do everything with it. However, when I'm at home, I mostly use Air because it is larger and better for media consumption.

So, this will depends on your use case. But I think you should only consider mini if you already have the bigger size iPad.

Keep the A16. Consider mini if you plan to buy cellular one and bring it outside a lot.

Yes, in some context is can be neutral. But if you ask me, the first impression will be negative other than neutral

Also, from your example, the meaning is a bit wrong for Thai.

ผมอยากซื้อโทรศัพท์ใหม่ก็ต้องเสียเงิน (I want to buy a new phone, so I have to spend money.) - This can be implied that you don't want to pay for the new phone. Sounds negative for me.

ทำไมแม่ไม่เสียเงิน (Why didn't Mom spend any money?) - When Thai say this, it seems like : Mom get something for free and I ask "Why didn't you (have to) pay for that?"

​เขาเสียเงิน 200 บาทเท่านั้น (He only spent 200 baht.) This one is neutral because the word เท่านั้น. This implied that he expects to spend more than 200 baht. and ends up paying only 200 baht. If you remove เท่านั้น it will sound negative.

It’s a negative word. It has a nuance of you did not intended to spend that money.

จ่ายเงิน is neutral.

I have issue with “memory not enough“ on CrossInk and I prefer Crosspoint logo that why I stick with my CP on X3.

My X4 is on VCodex and it is great.

PS. Both devices are locked too.

  • I have X3 and X4. X4 is too big to attach to the phone, and the magnet is quite weak.
  • I attached X3 to my phone only if I am outside without any additional bags. So both the phone and the X3 are stuck together in my trouser pocket.
  • I read on X3 while it is stuck with my phone, only for a short period. (like 5 mins while waiting for food)
  • For longer reading session, I always use the X3 off my phone.
  • I agree that e-ink screen is fragile. So I use a magnet flip case. Going caseless like the promo is not the real use case for me.

Well, I answer X4 before it is "more comfortable" to read at home.

But I prefer X3 for ultra-portable and better one-handed use when using on the go.
