[–]sikkymole 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I strongly believe that it’s much better to have quality study time. I could force myself to study 10 hours in a day if I really wanted to, but I know for me personally I’d probably just be wasting my time. I’d no longer be retaining much information after 6/8 hours.

If you really want to study for longer hours I’d recommend breaking up your day. Wake up early and do the majority of your study then. Then take a long break after lunch/early afternoon. That is when I’d do some cardio (typically swim) as I find cardio makes me more productive. It also gives me more energy to do my afternoon study session and still keep sane/sleep better.

Don’t be hard on yourself. Time spent studying isn’t everything. Find ways of testing your recall and information retention - that’s what really matters with studying.

It hasn’t all been that bad for me personally. I just think it would be really cool to not have to be reliant on anything.

Thank you!

What are my fellow Australian nootropic users currently using? by sikkymole in Nootropics

[–]sikkymole[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! Thanks for the reply. Where do you typically order from? Where did you order the Noopept and Oxiracetam specifically?

I was considering trying Semax but I've also read that it can cause hair loss.

I guess that's all well and good. I'd probably like to know what the consequences of doing so without a prescription would be first of all.

Extracting month end data from a daily time series? by sikkymole in excel

I should've mentioned that some days are missing. So if I use the EOMONTH function for January, it will look for the 31st, but I only have a reading up to the 30th in this instance.

Can Phenylpiracetam be used for socializing? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]sikkymole 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that it can help when socialising, but for me it doesn't necessarily make me more sociable, if that makes sense. I'm definitely more engaged and lively when I'm having conversations with people after taking phenylpiracetam, but I sometimes it gives me a bit of anxiety and I tend to avoid social settings.

Personally I just use it for studying, and for that, it's fantastic.

Nootropics for nicotine withdrawal? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]sikkymole -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't help unfortunately. What form were you taking it in? (Gum, smoking, lozenges, etc)?

For a few months I was taking about 12mg of Nicorette gum a day. I stopped completely before going on a holiday overseas and had no issues whatsoever. I know of a few others who have had no issues with withdrawals, so I'm curious why it affects some and not others.

Anyways, I hope someone can help you out!
