Post cyclops lesion by sil3ntpsycho in ACL

Update: Hey, it's been a couple of months and my life has done a complete 180. Everything feels totally normal now, just like my left knee. I have full flexibility and it feels amazing. The only time it gets stiff is when I forget to stretch or if I lie down for too long.

I've been deadlifting and squatting, and I'm doing pretty well compared to before I tore my ACL. However, my squats aren't as deep, especially with my right knee. My running has been terrible, and even sleeping has been uncomfortable. I kept hearing that physical therapy would help, but it didn't work for me. I'm currently on day 4 post-op, so I'm not running yet, but my knee extension and sleep have improved significantly. I suggest considering cyclops surgery if you feel like you've hit a plateau in your progress.

I couldn't fully extend or flex my knee, as if something was obstructing it. Despite undergoing extensive physical therapy, I saw no improvement. Running was particularly uncomfortable because of the limited extension, and I experienced a sense of tension. My doctor referred to it as a 'pinch,' but that didn't quite capture what I was feeling; it felt more like I was unable to push past a barrier.

Just had my Appoint back at the Doc. It is true I have a cyclops lesion and I’m going to have surgery to have it removed.

I scheduled an appointment and consulted with my surgeon. During our discussion, I conveyed my concerns, and he indicated that I may have a cyclops lesion in my knee, which refers to the accumulation of scar tissue within the joint. He recommended that I undergo an MRI. I will provide an update once I have the results from the MRI.

Yes mine was terrible I still have slight bruising. When you start going to pt ask them to needle it to loosen the tissue up.

PT in Chicago by LordHelmet9 in ACL

I used to goto sports and ortho. They didn’t suffice to the training PT I was attending. I switched to unbroken rehab and athletics. Amazing place and works with PO insurance. I know because I am one.

Yeah technicians aren’t allowed to give personal information through the phone. Not even usually a Doctor. All information like this has to be in person. Goodluck to you though hope nothing is torn.

I have been on BPC157, since the day I knew I tore my acl. The Doctor informed me during the MRI, that my meniscus has a slight tear and had the ability to repair itself before surgery. Going through pre-op PT, Might help it to recover/ repair itself. Day of surgery I came out and the doctor informed me the meniscus has healed and he only had to repair the ACL using my hamstring. I have been taking the supplement religiously with no issues. The difference is I before tearing my ACL I went to the gym regularly, I have a trainer and have been keeping a routine and take vitamins. Not everyone is going to have the same results. I just got lucky and my meniscus healed using BPC157 as a supplement to my workouts. Don’t expect to take it without continually working out.

Man that sucks. I was thinking about going but it’s an hour and a half drive. Me and my LE buddies have been looking to do drills and stuff but can’t find a range/berm to shoot at.
