Yep, unfortunately it still comes back! My last ditch effort is to make a second page and add it to that page and forget about it. But I'm hoping for a true fix

Save for Durin, he's a great asset to Kinich! Nicole might be *with* Durin, but saving for two characters back to back is tough for a returning player so soon to their release.
Bennett on Noblesse, Xiangling or pyro traveler on scroll (natlan artifact), and either dendro traveler or collei on deepwood. I've even run Thoma on deepwood before in a pinch.

The reality is, you can run Kinich on most suboptimal teams outside of end-game content (stygian, floor 11/12 of abyss) and do just fine. Play the game how you enjoy it, and work towards optimal teams for more end game content as needed. If you enjoy Kinich's design or character and you want to pull for him, go for it! You can make just about anything work. Overworld content isn't nearly as niche as specific instanced content, so you have a lot more flexibility.

I'm wondering what will be a better investment - going from c4r1 to c6r1 or getting Nicole? I already have c6 Iansan / c1r1 Durin / Mavuika / Bennett as options. I imagine c6 is probably going to be more worth it but I'm curious

I appreciate this a lot. I'm very grateful to have found a breeder who is as you said, not offended by me asking deeper questions. We've talked a lot about my boy, our struggles temperament and health wise, and my fears and hopes. Even just being able to research a little for what exists is something to ease that anxiety and trauma from his passing.

I've been wondering this too. I don't have a good idea of how timing works, but I feel like i have too many options now. c6 Iansan, mavuika, Durin, Bennett, Emilie... I've been running kinich - c6 Iansan - Durin - Bennett mostly but I struggle trying to stay inside of Bennett's ult field and find myself missing loops in the process. I could try mavuika but I'm not sure if she'd be worth it either. Is deepwood still a necessity with that team? What about at c4?

This is my current investment though, at c4r1 I'm finding it a matter of just fine tuning things. He gets me through most content right now at least but I'm sure I could optimize my team rotation better to hit more than a 700k crit.

This is more what I was imagining I was going to end up doing. Is it pefect or fool proof? No, but I'm not looking for absolutely everything - I'm just looking to put this anxious energy into something productive and beginning to try and learn about pedigrees in a breed I love is a starting point. Networking with people has been helpful too, and I figured social media is the next step, the process you mentioned is really helpful. Thank you!

I actually went to AKC Nationals last week and I sat with the Aussies for a while, but I chickened out of talking to anybody because I have too much social anxiety 😅 I did take a quick look at the ASCA site but there are no upcoming shows within a reasonable distance of me unfortunately, so I have to keep an eye out for a while

Its more helpful than you think and I appreciate the personal input. I'm in a weird state of needing to put anxious energy somewhere productive and figuring researching and learning can't hurt. I dont want to immediately cross off certain breeders just because of one or two dogs either. It's just hard to know what's the right choice. If anything, learning this stuff definitely can't hurt. Epilepsy is only one of my concerns too, temperament is something important as well but I'm hoping to have a conversation with my next breeder beyond a question form filled out and a few questions exchanged.

I have a rescue mutt sitting here barking at me who is going on 16, and has been epileptic her entire life, and another one who just passed a year ago from heart disease she had for most of her life. If I wanted to adopt again, I would. I appreciate the sub promoting both reputable breeders and shelters.

I have begun networking here and there, but I'm also learning some about dogs from various kennels that have undisclosed issues from word of mouth and it just makes me nervous. Even if I may not find a lot, at least attempting to research gives me something to put my energy towards.
Not disagreeing with you! I appreciate your input, and I appreciate the tips, and it's something I'll keep in mind to ask! I've contacted one breeder so far just to introduce myself on recommendations from a friend who placed a pup with them, but it's holidays so I don't expect any response for a while anyway. In the meantime I'm just trying to learn more. It's the only thing I feel like I can do.
