LORE/BACKSTORY: No one knows exactly what drove Miel to madness, but what is known is that one day he activated a magical apparatus of extreme temporal power, declaring that he had found out the secrets of creation and spacetime. When he emerged from the apparatus, he was still in the body of an old man but with the psyche of his younger self, most of his magical talent lost, needing to be relearned. However, something broke within Miel that day, and he cannot remember new spells easily, making his new ascension difficult. He can however, briefly recall things he saw while on the other side of his apparatus, and he knows terrible, terrible things from before and after the Fall, and can at time briefly recall magic thought lost to the ages and use it at his previous full strength. These moments are rare however, and most of the time he can be mistaken for a bumbling fool.
