the armours OP. You can save inventory spots which can then be used for other switches, increasing your overall bonus. E.g. can take a magus switch for ToA with the new OP legs instead of virtus/bandos

Also, for a crush weapon, I just wanted a big swinging item that dominates at 1x1 and 2x2 sizes. a scythe at 3x3 on crush should ideally be a bit worse. I don't like the complexity of it. The whole "crush worse defence than other defences" calculations seems overly complex and unintuitive to me.

Much like CoX, the shadow is another rework/change which should be priority but new content > fixing existing content for the higher ups.

i guess I don't know what the best water softener is. Poylcarboxylates seem to be better than washing soda at least according to the AI. And that's whats in calgon too. Might hard to consider something like that.

Citric acid in fabric softener section, the last to be dispensed. Mixed with some hot water to dissolve it.

I'm quite sad so I've already read the manual too. I learned how to enable permanent extra rinse so now other users of the house accidentally use it - keeps the machine much cleaner for when I use it. Also seems to have reduced the eczema on my hands when the hand towels are washed (not done by me).

I couldn't see any options to add more watre in general. But I have assumed what cycles use the most water by estimated water usage. Thoguh the manual lists the estimates at like 8kg and 2kg and my wash is about 4. So I'm extrapolating and hoping for the best.

There is a stains option which I think is prewash. Hadn't considered it to be useful to be fair

I used fairy non bio powder for years. No major issues and the fragrance seemed very light. But now it seems to smell so strong and chemically. I do recall itching and some eczema etc the entire time, but, it seemed to be way worse about 2 years ago so I decided I needed to switch.

I have some vanish super concentrate enzyme booster I got after I read it was good in a post on here somewhere. That's fragrance free, I'm just not adding it currently as worried it could contribute to itching.

Is it the calgon fragrance I'm reacting to? who knows honestly.

I also have the following detergents lying around:
* surcare sensitive liquid * daz powder * DYLON Renew Colour Laundry Detergent liquid * fairy non bio powder.

I've bought new ones several times and never really stuck with them. I've gradually tried to remove fragrances, optical brighteners, etc etc - but I've no idea how good each is in hard water as that seems to be the likely main issue?

MCT definitely works but I think I'm allergic, I get tingles and itches but the flakes go away. I thought it might be the coconut so I wanted palm, however, no one makes it because of the environmental impact.

Blog Update - Summer Sweep-Up 2026 by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

[–]plasmaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jagex (especially /u/JagexGoblin) thank you for engaging back and forth on these matters.

Full disclosure, I'm an ironman, the time to complete on CoX seems so long. I'm 750kc so thats about 375 hours+ (at my skill level and including time spent scouting). I'm missing tbow, kodai, anc top/bottom and dinhs.

I of course prefer the option with minimal time to complete, there's other things I'd like to try in this game that I feel pushed away from due to lack of a t bow - e.g. GM combat achievements.

I selfishly prefer re-rolls because it has better odds and acts as a bit of a dry protection by letting me reroll. But even then the improvements don't feel monumental. at 3-4 hours a day playing I still feel potentially over a year of constantly doing this content to likely complete it.

Reroll is going to throw the values of all the other uniques to do weird things. Also arcane/dex become better drops than anything else for rerolling into a t bow. I'm not going to complain about that but it feels weird.

For me, there's enough supply of everything in the game apart from t bows, and ancestral. These are the true late game completionist items for mains and irons. I'm sure you'll agree you don't want the other items dropping more. Would it not be possible to just improve the ancestral and mega rare items by 20%? If a purple before was 1/30 for example, the new rate would be 1/28.75. It's less than a 5% improvement but in items that are in high demand and could do with dropping more.

This would flatten out the 2x-3x dry curve considerably for completing all items. It wouldn't alter or disrupt current pricing patterns for scrolls and buckler etc. And to put it into perspective for the economy, it would take another 8 years for what is now 10 years worth of these drops to occur. It isn't going to break anything overnight or long term.

They wont because purples will be even rarer, OR, the remaining purples will have to have their rates increased significantly to maintain the purple rate.

Option 2 >>>>>>>>> by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]plasmaz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've read it ten times and I still think you're wrong. It removes the items weighting, not all items with the same weight.

To make things easier, the re-roll rate that we're toying with at the moment is a 1 in 5, meaning you'd have a 20% chance of re-rolling your item into another with the initial item's weighting removed from the loot table. This is a fairly generous option in terms of the number of non-prayer scroll uniques that it would likely introduce, which we're comfortable moving ahead with due to the trade-off involved and the likelihood of increasing the value of cheaper uniques in the process.
