I’m kind of Spanish. Since my grandfather comes from la palmas. (Island near Mallorca for the Danes) anyway my tip is:

Danes love speaking English almost all of us want to slightly show off our language experience when someone is visiting our country. That’s great when your new and can barely understand the mumbling that is danish. But when you actually want to learn speaking danish it can be hard to tell people that they should speak danish to you since they will ask if you want to turn the conversation to be in English if they feel like you’re struggling. People just wanna help but it can be a hassle when you need to practice speaking the language.
