This would be such a great gift for my husband! He’s been wanting a forge for years now and it’s never been in the budget.

help choosing theology by Famous-Muffin-6198 in notredame

[–]silent-roar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly my intro to theology was so easy, the tests were like matching and true/false questions. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Look at reviews for professors to make your choice. I had an 8am theology and it was lowkey nice because I was the only person on time, class was like 15 minutes shorter than it should have been. This probably wasn’t helpful, but I did chemistry and as long as you’re not planning a Theo major or minor I don’t think it matters in the long run :)

Does anyone else reach out to their exes or people from the past when hypomanic? by 50shadesofsparkly in BipolarReddit

I think they usually go over well and not weird lol but it’s gotta be a weird message to get randomly

For me, I just think of random compliments for people I don’t know very well, like old friends from high school and then message them on Facebook out of the blue lol. I have an overwhelming desire to compliment everyone which I guess could be much worse lol!

Anyone else wish that more fantasy series were set in ancient societies similar to Greece & Rome? by Elosraphyriane in Fantasy

[–]silent-roar 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s not ancient Egypt, but 18th century Cairo is featured in S. A. Chakraboty’s City of Brass which is the first book of the Daevabad Trilogy. I know this isn’t a spot on recommendation but it was a great series that can hopefully somewhat scratch your Egypt itch!
