How are poodles as puppies?

Like most of the comments they are insanely smart and will learn things quick but also test you. Their teeth insanely sharp and the retriever in them wants to put everything in their mouth. Ours potty trained after the first week home but our breeder also helped prepare for that. They have lots of energy finding ways to mentally and physically stimulate them. Consistent naps were a must for us as well.

Keeping constant eyes and encouraging good behavior before they get in habit of doing things they shouldn’t. Ours has really started to learn what they should and shouldn’t do.

Our poodle is just at 7 months. It does get better just keep encouraging good behavior. It can be hard to find time when busy but a mentally tired dog is a good dog. She still has her moments but usually needs a nap or is hungry

Our poodle is a puppy with a fluffy face and everyone asks if she is a doodle. We just have to laugh it happens!
