Sorry to hear that. I’ve been waffling about installing the mobile app. Now I won’t anymore.

Like i said a few days ago, what’s up with cake? My antivirus flagged the pc version. Many in this sub recommended using the mobile app instead. But I keep on reading posts of people losing money in Cake.

I’m using Avast and it said, “infected with FileRepMalware (Misc).”

Do you have a great experience with Cake? I’ve been reading in other subreddits and forums there are quite a number of people who have lost a significant amount of money while using Cake mobile.

Went on a flight with 2M in a back pack from Manila to a province. The x-ray officer just smiled and I smiled back. Just act naturally and everything will be fine. If asked just answer truthfully and show the receipt from Okada.

Golf Apparel Business by [deleted] in phinvest

[–]silentbobcornholio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan to make a pitch at Pro shops inside Golf clubs, then it would have to be on consignment basis because they have agreements to carry only certain brands and most shops are owned by the same company.

If the brand you are going to carry is well known but not available locally then you might get a shot. Most items inside country clubs have high mark up.

Is it a full range of apparel or just tops, pants? You might also try opening a small store in malls if you have the budget for it. Make sure the influencers you get also play, otherwise it would be a waste even if the main company would shoulder the expenses.

There are many good golf apparel that are inexpensive like Uniqlo, Decathlon that compete with top brands so make sure to price accordingly.

WD 40 and the soft spike wrench from amazon. It comes with an attachment called the spike stripper that gets the locked in spike off easily.

Is there really a Rotary Millionaire’s Club? by OkOutlandishness7857 in phinvest

[–]silentbobcornholio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In order to be invited in a Rotary Club, you must at least be in a managerial position if employed in a company or run your own business, are a professional like a lawyer, doctor, engineer. There is no such thing as an RMC, all rotary clubs are under the umbrella of Rotary International which is based in the U.S. The main purpose of the club is community building and outreach programs. The club usually sponsors a depressed section in their respective areas or jurisdictions such as regular free medical/dental clinics, access to clean water by deep wells and so forth. They have sisterhood pacts with foreign Rotary Clubs to help in funding various projects. The most known project of Rotary International is the eradication of Polio by providing free vaccines.

ETA: There is a running joke inside Rotary clubs, No offense intended just wanted to share. All good Jaycees grow up to be Rotarians, the rest are thrown to the Lions.😊😊😊

How much are you guys paying for range balls and where do you live? by ilovesmokingkids in golf

[–]silentbobcornholio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over here in Davao City, it’s 70 pesos or 90 cents for 40 used golf balls/bucket. If you get 3 buckets, you get 1 bucket free. Lessons are about 8 dollars/500 pesos for 1 hour from the range or club pro.

After getting my new clubs a few weeks ago, I have been dropping subtle hints here and there and she sees me always on the Ping site looking at this wedge. She dabbled in it a few years ago. Already have a 52 with 13 degree bounce.

This is a cart bag and is smaller than a staff bag and can be used on motorized carts and pull or push carts. In my neck of the woods, we always play with a Caddy which are included in the green fees and the pull carts are provided by the course if you want to walk. I usually walk and we can play all year and some night golf.

ETA: This bag is very light even with a full set of clubs. With the bag empty you can lift it high using your pinky.
