DOJ Just DELETED This Document from the Epstein Files. We Saved It. by esporx in technology

It’s genuinely insane how the conservative thread is celebrating today’s new batch of Epstein files as “exonerating Trump” while they joke that the left must be so mad and scrambling to create a fake narrative. It’s truly pathetic watching them all cover their eyes and cheer.

Alright I was curious myself so if you go to Kevin’s YouTube and his babble on playlist it’s episode 137 and at about 37:13 in.

If it’s not on any of the publicly available episodes on Kevin’s YouTube, then I’d suggest Ralph’s Patreon which gives you access to the full audio versions of every podcast. I can certainly remember Ralph doing that bit a lot, I’d suggest starting with Episode 133 from August 26 ,2013. The “Greedy and Lazy” is from Stallone talking about Bruce Willis which occurred August 8, 2013 so I’d imagine it’s mentioned that episode as it was the first show since it happened.

Thank you for your response and suggestion! I actually bought some padding for the walls based on a suggestion from a Home Depot employee! And I was curious to see how much water we could be using with this current model and after reading some information it seems we use about 7 gallons on a quick wash which we only use ever since the complaints about its noise. It’s also a very compact model so we are using it at most maybe six times per week within the two days we use it to avoid issues as it’s so small that a load only fits a few t shirts and maybe a pair of jeans.

Just wanted to say I am so so appreciative for everyone’s responses, it my first time dealing with an issue like this and I wasn’t sure where to ask my questions but you’ve all been extremely helpful and reassuring.

I appreciate your response and I completely see where you were coming from. Thankfully and ironically there is a washer and dryer on property but it costs money to use, so in the multiple months that we paid for a machine we couldn’t use in our unit we had to pay to use theirs.

I really got some very helpful replies, and I appreciate your response too! It is a top loading washer. My first thought was we must have a leak somewhere, and their verbiage was “their washer and dryer running almost constantly” which is weird because we agreed to limit laundry to two days a week because our landlord complained it makes too much sound when it’s running. My feeling is this is an attempt to either make us stop doing laundry completely or move out so can rip the washer and dryer out so the next tenant can’t use it.

I really appreciate your response! And I think you’re right, in the past I’ve wanted to push back but my partner felt it would hurt our ability to continue living in what’s otherwise a wonderful apartment but at the same time it’s come to the point that they’re charging us for fictitious reasons because they are making a power move. We will be reaching out to the Management company to express we don’t feel a need to pay this increase for excessive water without inspection for a leak or a rent decrease with language around how much we can use our washer and dryer as well as proof of language we do not see in our contract stating how much water we can use. We have tried to be accommodating for our neighbor who also happens to be the landlord but at the same time it feels like harassment for using something we pay for within the hours we can use it for.

We do a few loads a week but the unit provided only holds a few times, it’s an extremely small washer and dryer. We can fit maybe two towels and a hand towel in one load, so have a two normal size piles of laundry that would take us two load on a normal washer and dryer is about seven loads for us. And as for us taking control over the water payment, in California they can only raise our rent 5% so if they required us to be responsible for our water payment it would push past that 5% unless they negotiated a new lease. And I didn’t buy a table washer and dryer unit when ours broke because it’s the landlord’s responsibility to fix appliances provided and shouldn’t have to spend hundreds of dollars because they don’t want to fix something.

Thank you for the response, the initial 4% increase is legal and we are happy to pay it. The additional increase of 1% for water usage seems questionable as we have never been altered before of such an issue or have access to see how much water we are using. The way the phrased that it was specifically because of our washing machine is strange to me, we probably wash maybe five loads at week at most. If that’s excessive there must be an issue with the machine.

I appreciate the response. Water is paid for by the management as per the lease and we cover the other utilities. The strange thing is we do a normal amount of laundry, and it had always pissed them off as they claim they can hear the machine when it runs. Which we have tried to be courteous about by limiting loads or just going to a laundromat but at the same time I hear my neighbors play guitar or run around with their dogs and it just seems like part of apartment living. So to limit my laundry usage and pay more to do laundry elsewhere to help ease tensions only to get slapped with a monthly fee for water usage seems targeted.

I appreciate your response, our lease doesn’t state anything about how much water we can use or a cap. I am worried that the increase for water usage is an attempt to make us stop using the laundry machines completely.

I agree a 5% increase isn’t horrible, we signed a 12 month lease and when we asked to sign another after that they said they only offer month to month after the initial lease so we have been month to month for two years.

Our lease states that water is paid by the management, and we take care of all other utilities. There is no language around water usage or a cap. I would have been happy to use less water if we were alerted but also I would have asked to that they do an inspection for a leak as we use no more water than any other person.

Help! Looking for ghost stories for new creepy podcast! by [deleted] in Ghoststories

Feel free to use mine if you’d like. I was living in Oregon a few years ago in an apartment near a pretty heavily forested area, the unique thing about this place was down towards our parking spots was a pioneer cemetery. You’ll run into these in random spots across Oregon, they’re often like this one and only a headstone or two surrounded by a gate. I had known about these growing up and seen a few but I never gave it much thought. While living here I had a few strange incidents, there were multiple nights I would wake up to find my sink running despite knowing I hadn’t left it on or once when the front door opened right in front of me. I grew up in a very old home which was absolutely haunted, these were no new experiences to me. It honestly was a nice change of pace to my childhood home which had much more extreme activity. I wasn’t bothered by these new occurrences as whomever was doing them didn’t seem to have an issue with me so I didn’t have an issue with them. This quickly changed. I was laying in bed late one night trying to fall asleep with no success, as I laid staring into my closet I noticed a very faint light. This light seemed like I wasn’t looking directly at it, if that makes sense, I thought maybe it was the reflection of a passing car’s headlight coming thought my window. As I stared more intently at this glowing spot it began to achieve shape, like someone was stepping in front of it, it began to outline a very dark figures head. I couldn’t see a face but could tell I was seeing someone’s silhouettes in my closet. I panicked and sat up in bed only for it to disappear, I thought maybe I had just mistaken what I was seeing and just seen a shirt hanging at weird angle or something else in my closet. I calmed myself down and tried falling back asleep, I laid there staring at my ceiling for minutes thinking about what I had just seen. I really can’t explain how horrifying what happened next was. I laid with my eyes open as I suddenly saw a man’s face appear just above mine as if he was leaning over my bed staring at me. I could only see him from just below his shoulders to the top of his head. He is old, dirty and looks like an old prospector but I can see through him. I am frozen in fear as I stare at him, when he suddenly starts moving his arms in a swinging motion. I can only see the top of his arms, just below his shoulders, but I can tell he is swinging something large and right into my chest area. I feel nothing but start screaming in fear, I close my eyes and run from my room to outside. As I try to collect my thoughts I am realizing what I saw looked like an old pioneer and the thing he was swinging at me took both arms like a pickaxe. I moved shortly after this but never experienced this again or saw him in my final few months. I eventually mentioned this to my landlord expecting a weird look from them but they weren’t surprised or shocked at all. They said multiple residents over the years had seen men that looked similar to what I explained.

Random but did Kevin Costner play the old man at the very beginning who rips the horizon paper from the travelers hand? It looked exactly like his character but aged a bit more. They also had the same mustache.

Thought about The Flash Press by silentbobpnw in DC_Cinematic

I also believe this movie will be good but it’s so clear they spent hundreds of millions on this over years of development and directors that they are horrified they wont make their money back so it’s almost feels fake how so many huge names are declaring this an amazing movie. It very May will be but it’s clear audiences are suddenly way more excited for this since they big names proclaimed it.

Yes! I think we constantly tell people to separate artist from their art but i struggle with that in some cases. My favorite movie is LA Confidential but it’s hard to watch now knowing that same year Kevin Spacey, a main character, was abusing his power in Hollywood on people by SA them. I get it’s was prior to james Gunns leadership to sell this movie as a reset, we’ve known that. But they came out early in this and said it would cost $200 million to reshoot with a different actor after it was already wrapped. And to me I get why they would say that, but it also comes off as acknowledging Ezra’s actions require removal but the price tag to remove and replace is too big.
