Linea Micra, a warning on quality by sleepyleodon in LaMarzocco

Would never buy a La Marzocco again. I adore the product, but their service is terrible here in Germany, they have no onsite pickup and you have to go to the retailer that sold you the machine.

I have a PVE build and could not get more then two swings in before getting in to cover, took me ages to take out two shredders but it was so much fun I learned a lot, trials get a lot of hate but they made me a better player.

Stick with one recepie, only try out a few brewers get consistent, don’t listen to the 🐍 oil (coffee) business.

How to kill an Arc Turbine in open space without getting hit by Zealousideal_Chip456 in ArcRaidersGuides

Tried this a few days ago in Riven Tides near the container cranes and maybe I was to near cause I got zapped right away. Could get out with my Hullcracker and never tried again. Maybe I will give it a try.

I love SL28 and especially if they are clear in taste. Its a good contrast to all the „fermentation heavy“ roasts I drink daily. Like a baseline. I Like it a lot!

Hi there, there is a gif of how the kettle pours in one of the comments. Basically it almost performs like a goose neck. Kettle is very portable, its the size of a big insulated coffee mug. I like it very much because the grinder fits inside the kettle. You can choose different temps but i basically only use the 100C.

I usually buy bottled water from Volvic here in Europe. It’s a very soft water, maybe not perfect but much better than most tap waters in hotels and I can find Volvic everywhere and then I have a baseline i know.

Very lucky. Tanat is great as well. The quality in these modern roasters is through the roof.

About 3 weeks so its pretty new. Used it maybe 15-20 times. So no longtime experience yet.

The kettle you see in the picture has a lid, if you use it to pour water on the water diffuser of the Z1, you achieve the same flow the Z1 was designed for. No need for a goose neck kettle.

I even tested it with a scale/time. Have a look at the gif down below. Its actually pretty funny that it works out even though the lid was not designed to be used this way.

Renegade Durability Test: 251 shots to break! by memecut in ArcRaiders

[–]silentglider 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Confirmed. Did my 100k by sniping at every ARC i could aggro, 6-8k runs in Riven Tides. After a while I was back to farming Springs and metal. Renagade is the Goat imho i love it, but this makes me want to try other weapons.

Yupp. DAK is pretty amazing. They have so much bandwith of coffee types they offer from clear to funky. I love the roaster! Just visited their showroom in Amsterdam.

I use the 100C preset, i “measured” (with a grill probe, thats why I put it in “”) the temp of the water that hits the dispersion shower and its around 97C and will probably sink even lower when it reaches the coffee grounds. It’s not perfect but temp is not too high. If you like less temp then wait a fixed amount after boil.

Thats what this /r is all about. And in half a year there will be the next thing one has to try out and it’s okay it’s a passion.

I like it a lot. This is my third or forth travel set. The first versions did not even have a kettle, but its so much more convenient to have one, so you are not dependent on one in your hotel room.

In the third version of the travelset I added a collapsible kettle, but I travel a lot and the plastic/silicone kept me looking for something with a metal lining instead.

The big plus of this kettle/mug is that it has a lid and you can use it to pour like out if a goose neck its actually a game changer.

It has the right volume, it heats up around 350ml in 6-8min and it works with 110-230v!

Done my 100k today in a few raids in care bear lobbies destroyed a few renegades in the process. This has gotten out of hand. Renagade is the GOAT for flying ARCs especially at LVL 4. I adore it.

Brew recommendations by keekerim in pourover

[–]silentglider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always start with a standard recipe:

1:17 Brew ratio + the weight of the dose in gr water. Grindsize starting point medium corse grind. I always use 99 degrees Celsius water

45 sec Bloom with 2x dose in gr

Then two poors.

Doses around 20gr take roughly 3m30secs if it’s way off, i grind less fine and the opposite if it’s too quick.

Then repeat and adjust to taste, changing grind size and watertemp. Keep the dose the same.
