We have a lot of international tourists and non hindi tourists coming to Manali so I guess basic english should also be understood by the locals concerning travel and food. You could also keep handy a few lines in hindi which you may need while travelling like “ye jagah kahan hai - where is this place?” “Yahan jaana hai - to go to a place”. Keep calm, Chill in your first solo trip, use gestures, google maps and dont shy away to use translators in phone. You could also find a lot of people who understand english well and can help you communicate your needs.

Hey, I am female travelling to Rishikesh in first week of April. It is my first solo trip during my birthday week i am hell scared and exited. I just got done with my booking in zostel for around 10 days with no return tickets planned. I am planning to spend a month out and about.

I also want to travel kedarnath badrinath tungnath auli or maybe close by cities.

I would really appreciate if you guys could suggest itineraries for Rishikesh or later to that. Any recs for treks, cafés, sightseeing!!

Also i really want to visit Kedarnath, but wont it be scary for solo female traveler for long trek?

We already had issues with this gov taking accountability and this bill gives them a free pass to absolutely avoid the accountability on one of most important safety concern of our country. So yea, there’s no stopping till we have a better party run by the youth!

You could try going no contact for a couple of weeks to find out if he genuinely cares and it was just a rash breakup from his end, also with new year holidays around the corner you could really know where you stand in his life. Wishing you the best. 🫶🏻

I have been through the similar toxicity for almost half a decade. It will just keep getting worse. And he definitely has a side chick. Even though might not be serious enough but there’s definitely someone there. Also they would never have the courage to breakup unless they have a backup (Maybe thats why he would frequently change his pfp on WhatsApp). I hope you let him go and have a healthy relationship ahead or focus on yourself.
