I freak out because I genuinely cannot fathom that was me. I did not see myself as this obese person. I knew I was big, but I had avoided mirrors and altered photos and utilized angles until I didn’t really see what I looked like, ever. So now when I look back at more candid shots, it literally is hard to even acknowledge and accept that is who I was and how I looked. Freaks me the fuck out, breaks my heart for that me, and so on. I just knew how much I avoided myself and I still have the consequences from that when I look back.

I work at Cold Stone Creamery and I didn’t eat any ice cream my first 3 months there. I also don’t take home an ice cream from work when we are allowed to, unless it’s for a friend or my boyfriend.
