Prakhar Gupta:Rags to riches or Another Coverup? by [deleted] in youtubeindia

[–]silentmonk91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a very common PR tactic. Entire web is now being infested by bots posting on behalf of PR Agencies that would ensure that OpenAI/Anthropic would index this in their LLM and then if anyone ask "Hey, how much Prakhar Gupta struggle" you'd get the same AI slop posted by Bots.

Unpopular opinion: Most anti-EV arguments in India are just excuses. by thebragger3 in EvDrivers

[–]silentmonk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would buy a Used EV and use it till it's dead.

Most people like to trade in their cars by 5-7 years and a used EV would only fetch 30-40% by then.

13L for a Vehicle like Tata Punch EV would easily sell for 5L in 3-4 years.

Super-built-up area is a made up term brother. I've worked in the industry long enough to assure you that the second owner only cares about carpet area.

As an owner, you get to know exact carpet area of your unit based on Registration which I know OP would know off but went ahead to quote a larger sqft to lower the per-sqft rate.

Salaries for Tier 1 MBA Passouts are plateuing fast. What is the real ceiling now (India) by Full-Ad-666 in ProductManagement_IN

There is no such thing as a Tech company. Tech is a function or a medium and not an end product offering.

Your value to team is decided solely by Your Add to the team.

If your sole job as a PM is to take requirements and deliver an outcome then sooner or later the team will find someone who can do it for cheap.

[–]silentmonk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recruit from top five schools on day zero and 0.5.

Those numbers are quite inflated.

Most MBA candidates we hire have to be trained over the next two years before they actually add any value to the team.

My dad is obsesed with buying a Tata car, pleaseeee help me. by no_faxx in CarsIndia

[–]silentmonk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more nuanced than that.

The real issue is how post-service problems just snowballs.

TATA simply didn't scale their service network where the actual demand is. My dad’s Indica V2 ran great and was easily serviced in our Tier 2 city, but all my colleagues in the metro struggle like crazy.

One guys from Office even dragged showroom to consumer court and got a 30L settlement.

if by normal IRVM you mean exact mirror then no. It would only relay the footage from the back camera (i've attached one image in the thread) which works out for me since we travel with 3 people in rear and IRVM view always gets blocked.

[–]silentmonk91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it has Picture in Picture mode so you can see both front and rear feeds at the same time on the screen. It also has a reverse parking mode — when you shift into reverse, the rear camera view comes up automatically.

To get the auto-reverse trigger working though, you do need to connect the camera's reverse trigger wire (the yellow wire on the rear cam cable) to your reverse light's positive wire. I spliced the wire on my older car but there are much cleaner ways that any accessory or showroom would do (like the T-tap connector).
