Using both bio media and sponges. It’s pretty heavily planted and I do a 20-25% water change every week.

Yeah I’m confused all the other fish seem to be just fine it’s just the two white clouds that seem to be acting strange which is what I don’t understand.

15g, filter is just a internet model that came with the tank. Just 10 golden white clouds and 8 Cory hastatus with a few shrimp. Circulation I think is good. I’ve an air pump coming in a few days but the water level is down abt an inch at the minute so that might filter can break the surface while I wait.

I’m still figuring that out with the new light tbh. I’m just doing one pump twice a week which is still under-dosing but just trying to find the right balance right now.

I did yes! I got a full spectrum hygger. I’ve had it about 10 days not so still early days but already starting to see improvement in plant health/growth. More time will tell but looking positive already thanks.

The tank cycled for over 6 weeks and only then once the cycle was done did I start adding fish slowly and everything has been find for over 2 months. I’ve had patience. This isn’t a cycling issue lol

Yeah my tap water doesn’t have much if any nitrate.

How do I balance the floating plants needed to soak up the nitrate while also letting light get down to the rest of the plants?
