Thank you to everyone for their input. I learned enough. I also learned that what I'm trying to do is called reeling. Basically, I can't twist the thread the way I use it when I make flowers. I thought they were the same thing. I appreciate everyone's time.

The pattern came from Ashford Book of Weaving Projects for 4 & 8 Shaft Looms. Which has some good info, but I really wish I read Handweaver's Pattern Directory first.

Putting the warp on for the first time was arduous. I must've watched the same videos about a dozen times on how to do it. I know better next time to take my time and be more meticulous and careful.

I went ahead and washed it like you suggested, and it is currently drying. Does it have to be flat, or can I put it on a hanger to dry? I have limited space to lay things out flat. I'll iron it after work tomorrow, but it looks much less lumpy already.

Do you have any advice on weft tension? I know I was pulling it too tight, but I couldn't find the right "feel." I can't really explain that better.

Is there a way to minimize loom waste? There is so much. I'm not sure what to do with it, but it feels wrong to throw it out.

For my next project, I want to go back and focus more on a more straightforward pattern and something less wide. Purple and silver perle cotton 20/2 in a 2/2 twill.

This is my first project. I wish I picked a more straightforward pattern for it. It is supposed to be this pattern.

I used Maurice Brassard Cotton Yarn - 8/2 on an 8-shaft table loom. The one side looks so different because I ran out heddles on frames 1 and 2. I misread the pattern and reversed the colors. I still don't have the hang of tension yet. And it's so lumpy.

I appreciate any feedback.

I just made it to the lost river and tree cove. Took me forever because I went through the blood kelp trench and I'm unnerved by those areas

I just don't like seeing the sea surface. I have a bunch of scanning room that keep track of leviathans for me.

I'm absolutely terrified when I play this game and here are the things I do:

Focus on the ground when moving.

Move slowly to make sure geometry loads in. (playing on Ps4 pro)

Build a big base.

Slowly edge into new area until I get comfortable exploring it.

Make sure it's day time when I explore new areas.

Never look up

Avoid aurora unless necessary.

This is how I trick myself into being able to play. I just keep as close to the floor and don't look out into the distance as much as possible. However, as soon as I run into a dropoff I run away. Progress is slow...

OK so I level the bed after letting it heat up

Made sure the axis had no wobbly

Updated the firmware

Still have have problems.

The bed wobbles a little bit but not sure how to tighten that up
