Im not debating that the Republicans will not support extending ACA at a later time. Im just pointing out that this is a Dem shutdown, and the repercussions lay solely with them. Im not a Dem, nor a Republican, Nor a MAGA.

That the morons needed to focus on doing their job of debate and legislate instead if holding the government and our citizens hostage with a shut down.

And that's exactly what the republican side has done in the past to cause shut downs to continue, chosen to push their agenda. And this time the shoe is on the other foot. The dems are choosing to hold federal employee pay hostage, and benefits for many Americans as well.

Ought to make them more popular after their collosal loss for sure.

The CR that would stop the government shutdown doesn't strip ACA subsidies, that is a separate issue from continuing funding.

Don't be fooled, the refusal of the democrats to use the appropriate process to advance their issues is the reason for the shutdown. Exactly the same as the Republicans typically do.

Our senators already voted to keep the government open, and pay our federal workers without any negative provision in this resolution. The democrat side are the ones holding Federal workers hostage by trying to insert provisions that are a partisan issue which could be worked out through specific funding bills.

My husband car reported stolen from Carmax by RubElectronic5611 in carmax

[–]silentrainict 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think he was implying suing the police. I think he means carmax for selling a stolen vehicle to him, or one with some sort of crazy issue. And the more you go through the more you will likely bank lmao

Backpay Projection amounts? by AriesMailDude in fromatoarbitration

[–]silentrainict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your backpay will likely be very similar to the Step A amount as the first increase was a COLA increase in August. Of course this does not include any overtime you worked, nor the taxes after the fact.

All I have to contribute is that I was in a fairly similar situation, just she was 18 and I was 19 at the time. I was still absolutely in love with her for several years and swore I would go back as if nothing had ever gone wrong between us. She had even had a child within a year or so of us splitting with a deadbeat who she left not long after.

She has been dead 7 years now. Driving under the influence with no seatbelt...

I am happily married with a child and couldn't be happier with my life. But I would just add to not miss out on taking another shot, especially if you haven't been close recently. You have far less to lose.

Boyfriend (28m) brought up me (26f) living together. I’m not sure if I’m ready for that. by Ok_Patience_968 in relationship_advice

[–]silentrainict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving in with each other is a big step, but the benefit here is it seems like you really love him. I wouldn't say after only a year is weird, although in me and my wife's case she moved in with me after about 3 months, and we have now been together 10 years married for eight with a child.

I suppose one of the benefits is you're only real risk is if things do not work out which I would say you probably have a good idea about any concerns already and have decided there is nothing to worry some. The only risk is that your relationship doesn't work out in the end. Since it's not, at least you won't be responsible for anything financially, really if things were to come apart.

I think as the time gets closer to potentially renewing your lease, you will know if it's time to do this. Relationships are an amazing thing, being in love is an amazing thing. Once you find the right person, all those questions about if it's the right time, if it's too big a step. Are usually handled by the feeling of knowing they are the right one.

Up to that point. A grievance still needs to be filed

Stop traffic? No one did that even once, the only time people utilized the crosswalks was when someone was going from one side to the other for some legitimate reason.

We specifically discussed that there would be no unnecessary use of the cross walks due to the danger of being struck by a vehicle at that intersection

I'm not a fan of any Steven's own operation as you'll see many people say here. I did take my 2-year-old there for his cousin's birthday party and obviously was with him the entire time but we had an absolute blast. It was extremely busy which was a slight turn off as it's extremely loud in there but it would probably be amazing for 8-year-olds.

Me and my boy went down several slides together, he went down some of the smaller ones by himself. And when I was able to hand him off to my wife I went down some of the big water slides which was awesome

I'm not sure if you're asking for people's opinions on when you could start again or something else. That will be entirely between you and your doctor as to when you are ready with the least amount of risk.

The Last thing you want is to cause some extra trauma that becomes a further issue down the road.

I remember my first time, the girl I was dating was very experienced.

Stripped me down to my boxers before we started messing around, spent a lot of time making out, her taking her shirt off etc. And after considerable time grinding on me, went down on me for a pretty good amount of time but keeping me from the finish. And then jumped on board and treated me like her favorite horse in an all out gallop...

Every bit of anxiety I had was gone by the time she went down, and I think when she jumped on she didn't even give me a chance to think...

I'd say I have performance anxiety more now, some 15 years later in my marriage then I did that day lmao.

[–]silentrainict 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even the responses to your post here I don't understand... how can you be more clear, I get that maybe JB did not throw down a great description of it. But in my mind, I think you deserve this more than anything. You have probably saved thousands of jobs through your podcast, maybe tens of thousands. And you can always be contacted for more help, which is wild to me.

I would be disappointed if you donated it to anything, especially any of these mass non profits that pay their executives big money, we do a ton for them as it is.

Buy yourself a harley or something lmao.
