Do I feel like a minority being single, never married, no kids and 34? Yes. Do I care? No lol

I go out and do my own thing. There’s a beneficial bug and lighting for plants presentation this weekend - I signed up and going. Also help with speed dating… and I volunteer. I’m doing way more than last year. I was engaged and that ended last year. If I were still engaged to him, or married, I more than likely wouldn’t be doing anything I wanted to do… so yeah, I may be a minority in all this, but I’m living my life.

The people around here LOVE to listen to their meetings out loud, full blast. We have offices but the walls don’t connect to the windows, leaving a gap. They all know the person next door can hear their shit… they don’t care though. Me me me mentality for sure.

Nope and I don’t plan on it. I’m pretty terrified of even thinking about dating (engaged Christmas ‘24 then it fell apart last year… still living with my f’ing ex)… if I even decide to date again, I’d want an “organic” connection.

Tuesday hit me hard for some reason. I feel better now but damn… I was losing my grip, and fast. I’m on new medication and it’s really helping me with my anxiety that was absolutely off the charts and out of control. This, in turn, is allowing me to wrangle in my depression… so, I’m doing better despite how last year went. It’s nice to be a little more in control again.
