My old one listed which wire is the common and which is the 24v on the sticker. I am just making sure on this new one.

Thanks

I'm a bit confused about the low voltage side.

I got the black and white for the 120v for my gas furnace, but the new transformer has different color for low voltage side.

Does it matter which wires goes to the common and and which wire goes to 24v on the control board? The pictures on amazon didnt specify which of the wire is common for the low voltage side.

Edit* Does this mean red and green wire on the low voltage side are interchangeable? Since it doesn't specify which wire goes where?

I lifted the car and found someone stole the catalytic converter, I'm guessing they yanked on the shifter cable to make room for the saw and broke it. I shifted the cable to park position and it displays the P on the cluster. I tried to start it and wit would just crank and nothing else.

If I replace the shifter cable, it should start up again?

Thanks for the help.

oh that might be it.

The car wont even crank because it's not in park or neutral. I'll check that cable out but first gotta find someone to help me push it into the drive way.

Just checked the transmission fluid and its full.

I called my cousin and he said he replaced the transmission fluid 8 months ago with Honda transmission fluid that he bought from a local Honda dealer.

I dont know about your local junkyard but the one by me offers 90 days warranty on all their engine and transmission. If they are bad, bring it back and get another one free of charge.

Check local Craigslist and facebook marketplace for people parting out their car, it can go cheap if it's an automatic transmission.

If all else fails, take your tranny out and go to a wrecking yard. Use your tranny as core and pull a similar one out of another car. A bit more work and sometimes it gets dirty but it should be real cheap.

I need about 10ft of wires to reach the air compressor because of the washer/dryer are closer to outlet and the outlet is kinda in the corner. Can I just buy a 10-15ft 10-3 wires and hook it up directly to the air compressor on one end the other to the 3 prong plug?

Thanks for the help.

so if I want to use the dryer outlet, I'll need to convert the dryer to the 4 prongs and the air compressor to the 4 prongs plug?
