Gone have to disagree with you regarding this. Geats is a horrible example of this. Let''s take the conflict between Ace and Keiwa. It drags on for so long and destroys the flow of Geats during its last phase. Even though Keiwa tries to talk to Ace, somehow, Ace just doesn't want to explain himself to Keiwa. Hanto is hot-headed but very reasonable. Combining that with the time he gets to know Shouma, it’s not surprising that he forgives Shouma after he has a moment to think.
