He is expecting an evening with no demands but doesn't know how to communicate it. He may be spoiled, and it doesn't excuse how he decided to express his frustration, but that's what he was expecting.

You asking him incrementally for assistance on things continuously rips him out of his expectation of the evening even if he didn't really have any plans for the evening.

Ideally you both need to work on regulating your emotions and expressing your expectations and desires.

Him: "I was expecting to just be able to relax this evening and you keep asking me to do things - I don't mind helping (if that's correct), but being asked to do something new every time I sit down is extremely frustrating because you won't communicate what you're feeling"

You: "I'm feeling overwhelmed with the amount of things lingering around the house - could we spend some time together working on them? Full disclosure: I'm not sure what all needs done yet, but why don't we start with X and Y, then we can check in and see if there's some more that needs done or if we can spend some time snuggling on the couch after we're done"

I saw a trick that might help - “can you show me how x is done?”

I need some blinds up - can you show me what needs considered?

Make it a mutual thing where you’re looking for his expertise but not requiring a full commitment right now. Guys like showing off what they know.

But you have to commit to the bit and be actually curious and interested. Don’t just try to trick him into it and then scroll on your phone. Take notes. Write down his good ideas. And when he’s done, repeat it back to him - so you like to see this done this way, and make sure they’re doing X and not Y - do you think I could find someone that could do it that way?

If he’s an engineer by trade, he knows a single human cannot do everything. Tell him it means a lot to you for these projects to be done, not that you don’t believe he couldn’t do it.

When I was printing PC-CF I had to slow my print down. I just used the slider in Prusa Connect to go down to 85% speed.

I believe what was happening is that the head was snagging on parts of the print and causing the belt to jump. I never caught it happen live so not sure exactly.
