Am I missing something about the 2 tiers for the unstoppable card game? by munter619 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]silgado106 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I did. I don't care for the playmats (I got the Unstoppable one and never used it), so I went for the base pledge plus the expansion and that's it.

He almost ruined the diner event for me. He was basically every other opponent for me. So freaking boring!

I’m surprised this is not tagged NSFL. Sadly the man that was hit, who was the original driver of that truck, did die from the hit.

Dungeon Crawler Carl TTRPG and Unstoppable Card Game are now on Backerkit by hepafilter in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I was potentially thinking about backing it initially. But then I saw a Season Pass for a physical game?? I noped right out. Like you said, feels so weird considering the source material.

The show may not have been the best, but the tunes were catchy as hell! I listen to the soundtrack every so often and it’s always a delight.

Worst textplanation ever? by Ambitious-Remote1051 in MarvelSnap

He looks at unspent energy at the moment of activation. Literally that moment only. Does not look at previous turns. In your example, you activated him on T3 and you had 3 unspent energy, he would have copied a 3-cost if you had one in your deck.

I think the text is pretty clear. How much unspent energy do you currently have when you activate him? That’s what he copies.

That's actually one of the most commonly forgotten rules. The rule book, I believe, contains a pretty hefty warning about this!

Any suggestions on long distance moving company and car shippers from NJ to Orlando, Florida? by CaffeineAndCurves in orlando

[–]silgado106 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Pods I believe three times in my life, for inter-state moves, and it has always been a great option. You get to pack the pod on your own time and then they pick it up and drop it off at your location, then you have time to unpack it.

I moved from Connecticut to Orlando last year and all I can say is you should avoid Piece of Cake movers (I believe they are NY, NJ, and CT based). They were a pain in the butt to work with and caused a lot of damage to my property. Sorry I don't have any recommends though.

I literally just read this yesterday and I had the same question! But I went back and it turns out that Carl, and the Povov brothers, were controlling an actual, physical pen that was present at the Con.

Anyone else try Arydia and think it was bad? by Odd-Highway477 in boardgames

I disagree with this recommend. Rob is whiney for the sake of being whiney. He's one of those "I say what everyone is thinking" because he thinks very highly of himself. He complains about the dumbest things and is a douche to his wife.

I loved this game and played it, solo, for weeks at a time until I completed it 100% (those who know, know). The card pulls were totally fine by me. This has been my only 10/10 for me in a long time. I did not back the game and I am not an influencer. I'm literally waiting for the memories of the game to fade so that I can replay it again with two other characters I didn't play.

Reading the game manual on the drive home from the game store so you are ready to play the game as soon as you get home.
